In terms of the pre season games it has to go down as the worst preparation I have ever ever seen.
We simply are not ready.
I think we'll get a striker in soon so in dicko's absence Mason will be a makeshift #10

The definition of average
I don't think our team is that bad but have just looked that way under a manager that completely lost faith in what he was trying to do and appeared to just go through the motions this pre season.
Relying on Ennis would be tough and i personally think Henrys days are numbered as a starter and we still lack a leader on the pitch.
I agree but cant see any other options right now all our match winners are out

Tell ya who'd be available maybe

plan b striker

If he hadn't left then i completely agree Wolfgang, but i don't think it wise for him to return for bith our sakes.
Plenty of options out there Tino, we just seem like we won't ever bring one in.
Interesting to see if ButtI and Cusin alongside zenga steer us towards the Italian market rather than just Benfica
Balotelli on loan from Merseyside reds

You will be happy with that but most of us will just take promotion and be more concerned with how we fare once in the top division.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, I get your message about being happy to go up as runners-up, or play-off winners. I would accept that, but I think the aim is to come top. What do other fans think?
I think you have to set out to finish top. That's a special achievement and if you fall a little short then the 2nd and 3rd prizes are still worth having.
If the aim is play offs and you finish a little short, as we did in 2015 then you might as well have finished nowhere. Also the play offs are a lottery that you stand a 25% chance of winning even if you have the best team on paper or on form.
Of course you 'aim' for top, but the goal is promotion, you all start the following season level on points and nobody gives a feck how you got there then.
I don't care how we do it, i just want promotion, it means little to me if we are champs or not.
One very strange comment by Zenga today when he said he was proud to be Wolves manager because in Italy, Wolves are considered the biggest club.
Nice of him to big up the club, but that was a daft thing to say

Interesting reading, does seem Joao Texeira really is highly regarded.
Yes it does, but it doesn't speak very highly of Talisca.
Good result for Albion tonight. Their first team lost 2-1 at Torquay. Makes losing to Swansea look quite moderate

Why form an opinion based on one person's views? You would think Sako was useless if you read some views on here. Talisca would be a great signing for Wolves or Liverpool or anyone else
It wasn't one persons view.
It was a whole host of Benfica fans working in the same office giving their view on each player.
Jeff can't say Wolves ......he calls us Wulfves
Anybody noticed ?
Can't believe KT has survived this regime change
You can have it Unc
It is crazy isn't it, i thought he would be out the door sharpish.
