because they wont come to a club with unproven new owners and head coach bringing in foreign non-entities with a good chance of imploding ?

Foreign non-entities?

Whilst i agree we need a Brit or two it is a little silly to class these guys as non-entities, Helder Costa played most of last season for Monaco who qualified for the champions league.

Bodvarsson shone for Iceland at the Euros.

Both would be on the radar of a lot of clubs in the prem and championship.

The foreign non-entities who have played for Monaco, Benfica and Atletico Madrid? There aren't many foreign entities about then, no wonder they're struggling.

I didn't realise how harsh we were all being.

think everyone just needs to get a grip, these guys haven't even been in for two weeks and are being criticised for being tight fist ed etc?!?!

Zenga wasn't what we expected, but Southampton had him on their shortlist as well so he clearly has something about him.

As for the signings, it seems quite obvious to me we have pushed through some of the easier to manage moves first, the ones that would have been set up prior to the take over and once that was confirmed they would be pushed through.

It is early August and we have plenty of time to add more and these guys WANT promotion.
