Ashley Cole by a distance.
Oh, sorry. Thought it was British only. Ashley Cole then Cesc.
Did you see Serge Gnabry goal over the weekend, btw? Already looking head and shoulders above his team mates.
Yeah definitely Cesc.
Wilshere could have been if not always injured.
Oops just remembered we signed him frim milan

Yeah outrageous technique. The more you watch Ox play, the worse this transfer seems. He'll most likely be at Bayern next season, if not I can see him come back to PL for someone else.
Fabregas. Even now, thinking back 10 years, he was so ahead of his time. By the time he was 21, he was as good as Gerrard and Lampard, if not better who were at their peak.
=====================
Still think Ox is better than Neymar?
Best thing that has happened for Iwobi is that Wenger has not yet run him into the ground during his teenage years by making him play 100 games before he is 21 like he has with others.
I like him.

Not really worthy of a rofl smiley tbh. Fabregas was easily on par with Gerrard and Lampard.

Did he really say this?!
Iwobi is still pretty raw and will have bad games as well as excellent ones but you can see the talent the kid has. He actually producing the goods be it goals / assists and is getting in the right places.

It was debated quite frequently at the time by pundits. Seem to remember Lee Dixon picking fabregas and mark lawrenson going for Gerrard

His goals, assists, number of appearances and medals at club level suggest differently.
Opinions though eh.
The Fabregas of old was outrageously good. I would never have swapped him for CM except for Xavi. That is how good he was.
The moment he left for Barca his career took a down turn. Was quite profilic for Arsenal
Robbing
I don't get you. Are you mentioning trophies when Liverpool barely win any?
Are you mentioning assist stats when Cesc used to regularly top em?
Appearances? Cmon mate.
Yes Robbing. Hence why we said 21 year old Cesc.
Cesc was a good player but always seems to burn out by Xmas. For those 3 or 4 months he may have been on Gerrard/Lampard level but never for a full season.
Medals at club level is still used to compare player ability? I remember the days when Mancs were telling us Anderson was better than Fabregas because he had won more trophies at the time.
Fabregas was truly an excellent player for Arsenal but it was like Wenger never winning back to back titles, Fabregas could never dominate and dictate the midfield against the very top teams.
Oh you picked a specific year? In that case I pick 2009 when Gerrard scored 24 goals. Or 2005 when he scored 23. Could pick many years for Lampard as the guy was a machine.
Yes I am mentioning trophies and Gerrard won more than Cesc. So did Frank.
Yes I did mention appearances as it shows consistency over a huge amount of time to play at the top level.
Look I get it, you're bigging up Cesc, it's what you guys do on here, but in reality he had some very good seasons, then one at Chelsea and has been benched intermittently in between. No shame in that at Barca but it doesn't alter the fact.
