Oh, sorry. Thought it was British only. Ashley Cole then Cesc.
Did you see Serge Gnabry goal over the weekend, btw? Already looking head and shoulders above his team mates.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah outrageous technique. The more you watch Ox play, the worse this transfer seems. He'll most likely be at Bayern next season, if not I can see him come back to PL for someone else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sure we've we put in a buy clause somewhere in the sale, we are not that stupid.
The better he performs the better for us.
Chite man, just saw the Gnabry goal, how the hell did he get away.
His goals, assists, number of appearances and medals at club level suggest differently.
Opinions though eh.
--------------------------
Not sure what Gerrard's appearances or medals have to do with the prime years of Fabregas' Arsenal career. Neither was Gerrard ever a better assister or creator than Cesc. On a creative basis, it wasn't particularly close. Fabregas awareness and vision for the final ball was comfortably superior. Gerrard certainly was a bigger goal threat and his all-action box-to-box drive gave him an edge, but between 2007 and 2011, you could argue Cesc was as good as any playmaker in the division. As far back as '05/06, when he was 19/20 years old, he was pretty much the top playmaker in that season's CL campaign.
I thought Kaka was quite good but hey ho.
Fabregas was a terrific player at Arsenal.
When he left for Barca, it was because they viewed him as the long term successor to Xavi. While it never quite worked out that way, it was still understandable why they thought that - his performances at Arsenal merited the comparisons.
He looks a broken player now though.
I did post it in an article recently that despite the medals Cesc has won, his exit from Arsenal tarnished his personal legacy cos he has never hit those peaks. Only came close in his first Chelsea season. It really is very easy to forget just how influential Fabregas was for us.
Fabregas was truly an excellent player for Arsenal but it was like Wenger never winning back to back titles, Fabregas could never dominate and dictate the midfield against the very top teams.
---------------------
Against Barca? Perhaps. Fabregas dictated tons of games against England's best. Not his fault the likes of Bendtner and Chamakh led our forward line and we had the likes of Denilson, Squillaci and Silvestre marshalling our defence
I'm sorry, not to do with that , when the tough got going Fabregas went missing.
Still would have loved to re-sign cesc when Barca sold him. The quality we would have had with Ozil, Santi and Cesc would have been on another level.
BO$$™ -
If you had re-signed Fabregas, then Ozil wouldn't have been signed. No way Wenger would have brought both.
Makes sense when you see cazorla getting on.
Fabregas had a special relationship with Wenger and I think it would have continued if Wenger had taken him back. I guess Wenger resisted because he had Ozil.
Yes I am mentioning trophies and Gerrard won more than Cesc. So did Frank.

No he hasn't.
Gerrard
FA cup ×2
League cup ×3
Championsleague ×1
Fabregas
Premierleague ×1
La liga ×1
Fa cup ×1
Copa Del Rey ×1
League cup ×1
Euros ×2
World cup ×1
And thats without including community sheilds and super cups

Aside of the fact I said club trophies you have also missed a trophy for Gerrard so just shhhh.

--------------------
Cliched. And often untrue. The whole bottling tag was always simplistic and levelled at the entire team.
Fabregas rarely bottled it at Arsenal. In fact he was the one getting stuck in and fighting for it.
It was only at the end did he lose the will.

Right i missed the 2001 Uefa cup for Gerrard. That's still 6 each at club level. You were still wrong

No. Cesc has five. You wrote it yourself!
"Yes it was actually Robbing. Sorry about that and I apologise as I was wrong"
No offence Robbing. You've quite clearly not watched Cesc properly. Or you're being silly.
Trophies for Gerrard? He hasn't exactly been stacking those left, right and centre, has he?
Winning trophies does not make one a superior player. Don't get that argument.
Could someone name me the top 5 games for Fabregas for Arsenal?
I have watched Fabregas plenty. Fine player even now really. Tbh I think intimating that six trophies is somehow poor rtaher churlish, certainly ignorant, especially in the context of comparison with Fabregas.
My view is that Fabregas needs others around him, as all do to an extent, but somewhat of a luxury player who can be found wanting if not playing a deep 10 role.
I like the fact Gerrard could play pretty much anywhere, and did so, for club and country and still produce regardless of who he played for.
The correct answer is still Ashley Cole, though.

It's not an argument in isolation. Did you actually read what I wrote because it, in no way, mentions trophies in isolation.
