Zlatan will be having a field day against Pools pub standard defence, Matip and Lovren will probably retire after the game due to ptsd.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends whether he has a can be bothered to run more than 5 metres kind of day, I guess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He won't need to, easy pickings for Zlat against your joke defenders.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He just about bagged one against Zorya Luhansk, and even that was essentially an open goal as the keeper inexplicably decided to remain inside his net.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zorya have a better defence than you though.

Mourinho knows United can't really afford to lose so will set up defensively and look to hurt Liverpool with set plays and a more physical approach. It could work as well.
I'll go for a draw, either goalless or 1-1.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
goalless have you seen our attack and also our defence there will Def be three goals in this game minimum I reckon

I'm just looking for a great game between us and our greatest rivals. It's what football is about. There's no mileage in wumming or being oafish just to try and point score.

Have a word with BlaBla and Giggs
Hopefully we'll have learned some lessons from the City game, because if not then there's the potential for them to do what City did in the first half: start with a high intensity attacking game we can't cope with, and grab a goal or two.
Luckily though they're shoddy in defence and if we play well we can expose them. Zlatan needs to ensure he's a constant hassle and putting them under pressure. Mata should play since he regularly pops up with important contributions, whether it be a goal or assist, in big games.
I've predicted a 2-1 Liverpool win, but the fact they're in good form and we've been a bit meddling makes me think we might surprise them and pick up a result. Klopp's Liverpool have often been inconsistent...although at the same they're also often very good in the big games.
I think most sensible posters have called it right. If Jose gets it right and the players carry out his instructions to the letter, then I think you could get the first goal and make it very hard for us. But if we're on our game, and we are more often than not in these games under Klopp, then we could win fairly comfortably, much like the EL game.

Not really. Conceding one goal a game isn't too bad.
Bit of a dilemma for Mourinho, Liverpool under Klopp have struggled against team that defend deep and have depended on individual moment of brilliance to get results, but on the other hand Liverpool defence is not very good and if put under they could feck up badly.
You've conceded ten in seven. An improvement on the last few years, granted.
Goofy One -
I think there will be goals but it wouldn't surprise me if the game ends up being an anti-climax. I just hope we score early so it opens the game up. United will be cagey and cautious since Mourinho has been humbled by Klopp on more then one occasion in the past.
If we pick the right team and our lads are up for it, we're easily as good as them lot. Better even. We did finish 3 places higher than them last year too. Klopp took over in October so it's no excuse as Jose is already being asked to produce immediate results. Klopp should be no different.
Form goes out of the widow and logic does too in these games. We've won our last 5 PL games against them, where they beat us once in Ropey cup last season with 2nd leg a draw.
It could go either way.

Rashford I can see him being left out for this one and brought on late on for Mata.
It's important we have plenty in midfield for this one as it's Liverpool's main strength. Carrick will ensure our back 5 has more protection.
If we pick the right team and our lads are up for it, we're easily as good as them lot. Better even.
Won our last four league games against them.
I think it will go one of two ways
Either Liverpool win comfortably and its hailed as a Klopp masterclass in showing up Mourinho tactically, giving further evidence to Liverpool heading in the right direction, whilst United continue to fall from the heady heights of the Fergie era.
Or, United gain a narrow victory that is still hailed as a Klopp masterclass and further evidence that Liverpool are heading in the right direction despite the unfair result, and it still asks more questions about Mourinho's suitability as United boss, and are they really any closer to getting back to where they were.
