Mourinho and Klopp have played each other five times. Four of the games were between Dortmund and Madrid.
Which team has Mourinho picked up the most PL pts against?
hahahahaha you guessed it. The team that hasn't been champions of England for 27years. Historypool.
Thought it would have been Arsenal.

Liverpool 0-2 Man Utd
Typical Anfield Mourinho masterclass I think.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When was the last time the special needs one won at Anfield?
Last time he managed a team there.
It's more about players anyway and this will be a highly charged match. This season I think LFC have handled pressure quite well, Utd not so much, but goals change that and Utd looked comfortable once they scored against Leicester.
Actually might not have been, didn't Liverpool play them in the league cup the season they won it?
Chelsea won at Anfield in the league that season, dunno if it was before or after the league cup.

He's only played Klopp like twice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wrong.
Klopp has faced Maureen 5 times and has won 3, Maureen 1 and 1 draw. In those 5 matches Klopp's teams have scored 11 whereas Maureen's have scored 7.
The only time they met in the PL Chelsea got tonked 3-1 by Liverpool so I have to assume you think that was a Klopp masterclass.
After all, whenever a team managed by Maureen wins it's a Maureen masterclass so surely when Klopp beats him it's a Klopp masterclass.
And so far, Klopp is the master of Maureen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought about their h2h, and I didn't watch the Chelsea-Liverpool game, but tbh I'm not sure those 4 games he managed vs Klopp while at Madrid are going to be that good an indicator.
They had the greater possession in all 4 of those games vs BvB, but I'm not so sure he'll be so proactive for this match.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know but I really only posted that to get to l as he's such a Maureen fan girl that any negative comments towards Maureen wind him up no end

Yeah I'd agree with that, Robbing.
Annoying really, I swear the cult of personality is massively taking over at clubs in the premier league with regard to the managers.
Don't ever remember 'this manager vs that manager' being discussed to the extent it is now.
If Man Utd take the chances that come their way we should win. We are bound to have one clinical game surely? Man City weren't even that good 1st half but scored 2 goals from pretty much 2 chances while we missed 2 great chances 1st half. They were more impressive in the 2nd half.
We're unbeaten post international breaks under Klopp, won 5 on the bounce since the last one.
The reason I point this out is Klopp uses the international break to work with players who are not away on international duty.
For example we could potentially have out starting back 5 v united all in Melwood this week working hard to become a more cohesive unit, this is dependant on Karius starting, Milner is retied, Matip doesn't play for Cameroon at the moment (anyone know why?) The Lov fell out with the Croatia boss and Clyne is injured so might not train much.
That could be important for us

Fergie v Wenger
Fergie v rafa
Jose v Wenger
Jose v rafa
Clyne, Lallana and Lovren all injured with no return date on physioroom which is a worry. Bit of time yet though.
First goal wins this game for me. If United score first, I'm confident we can see it out. If we concede first, we may be in for a very long evening. More confident now than I was before the last couple of matches though. Performance level is definitely improving.

If it's still 0-0 at half time, I reckon we'll get the win.
First half I expect Liverpool to be all over us.
Don't think it was talked up like we're seeing now.
I think people focus far more on manager's. I've noticed it even more so since Fergie has retired. Every single thing is blamed or credited on the manager.

To me, over the last fifteen years or so, people have been talking more about the personality clashes, mindgames and general off-pitch battles between the managers than the on-field.
Now people are getting overexcited about managers' previous footballing successes, 'revolutionary' training methods and tactical genius. And again the focus of the discussion is too narrow and the value of these individuals is being overblown.
Look at Jose with Chelsea last season. Fabio Capello lost more games than he won in his last spell with Milan. Bielsa had a nightmare at Athletic Bilbao. (More or less) all great managers have poor and average spells.
Then look at Leicester last season. People had committed them to relegation before the start of the season and they won the title. Was that all down to Ranieri's 'genius'? No; he was obviously a large part of it, but the manager is not the be-all and end-all.
Tony Barton managed Villa to the European Cup. Tony Barton, heard of him? Exactly.
