Kohli is way down the pecking order when it comes to test cricket. He comfortably behind Root.

Know one is talking about one day cricket

If Kohli was playing for Pakistan, we'd never hear the end of it from you guys. I get it, you have an inferiority complex.

We don't actually have these gasm over our players like you do with Kohli (Sachin before that). I can't remember the last time a Pak fan wrote an article about one of our players.

That's because you don't have a player in the class of Kohli.

The only reason Neon wrote that article was because you lot were slagging him off and he scores a double.

Kohli is not even in the same class as Khan and Misbah when it comes to tests

These guys are old men and have put Kohli to shame <rolf>

Khan The man with only 4 centuries outside the subcontinent

Kohli wipes the floor with the pair of them

Thanks Kash, made me chuckle your statement did.

Rahane after an initial settling in period looks to be playing well too - some good drives and cuts.

I don't look at centauries. I look at runs, I look at averages and match winning performances. Khan has the best 4th innings average ever. He makes runs when the wicket is doing all sorts.

What did Kohli do in England again

posted on 17/11/16

You mean his very first series abroad?

What's Misbah's average in Australia? In South Africa?

posted on 17/11/16

If you go by overall numbers purely on runs and averages smith is probably better than both. If you judge by home vs away root and Williamson topple kohli.. but kohli has the most centuries..

You can't compare sachin to kohli either.. kohli yet to face one of the best bowling attacks in test cricket. Yasir would have him on toast... He's faced another set of good bowling attacks in England away from home and we can all see his average there... Kohli over-rated by his own fans at test level.

Love centuaries, me. In fact two Indian players have just hit one in this innings.

posted on 17/11/16

At first I thought you were just wumming..but you actually believe them two are better than Kohli

posted on 17/11/16

As I said to Kash, he's had one series in England, his very first away tour. You go on about like a broken record.

Look at his record in Australia and South Africa. The pitches in SA were doing hell of a lot more than in England and that too against Steyn and co.

If Cook plays 200 tests like Sachin he will break his record.. Then what? Not bat for Cook considering hes faced the new ball his entire career

posted on 17/11/16

If Cook could also emulate that in the ODI game, I'd say he was the better player. But all these people you're talking about are good only in one of the two main formats.

Sachin batted 4 and came in when India have already put on 100 or so.. Cook as had to face the new ball.

Australia produced flat roads where he took advantage. The series against SA was played on flat tracks. In one of the test SA should have chased 458 to win the test but fell 8 short and ran out of time. In that test alone Kohli scored a ton and a 90.

2nd test he failed

posted on 17/11/16

Also if you look at stats such as man of the match or man of the series kohli scores a big fat zero ... lacks match winning ability and doesn't compare to root, smith, sachin, younis etc... infact a discussion on kohli as a "great" at test level is pointless.. the boy is still in his nappy and has a long way to go.

posted on 17/11/16

Ah of course, when he scores away from home, it's a flat pitch. Keep the excuses coming.
