The back four did well.................Preston didn't offer anything going forward as neither did we, until the final minute when they missed a sitter. This couldnt have been classed as a stiff test for our defence at all.

This is rubbish

When we concede goals its because our defence is cr@p

When we keep clean sheets its because the opposition is cr@p

Lets not whatever we do give our players any credit.

Truth is Preston went into the game as the 3rd best team in the division on current form but on the day were made to look toothless by the best organised Wolves defensive performance we have seen for a long time

Truth is Preston were cr@p even the e&s said so, every report said the match was dire, which it was.

I don't think anyone who saw the game disagrees with the fact that the match was dire to watch. However, the fact that PL set us up not to lose against a form team highlights the fact that we were the ones who maybe made them look crap.

Getting a point away ay Preston and having our defense play as well as they have all season, hopefully bodes well for the future. Who knows, but at least give credit to PL and the lads for getting what they went there to get and keeping a clean sheet.

No point singling certain teams out as crap because the fact is they are all crap and very hard to watch except for maybe Newcastle.

Preston missed a sitter right at the end - so it's as much about luck (remember that word?) as much as any brilliance from the new boss.

We didn't set out to stiffle Preston if we did Lambert wouldn't have played Eno.

Not hard to watch if you live locally.

This was not a masterstroke from lambert to keep a clean sheet it was just 2 dire teams devoid of any attacking guile.

Reluctant to convey any Floridian-styled sychophancy your way, 50:50, but I do appreciate your match threads personally.

I dunno, but hopefully Lambert uses him as sparingly as McCarthy did in our promotion year.

Edwards isn't defensive or negative so unlikely to be picked, but personally I'd rather see an attacking style of play.

Fack me?!?!? How bad are Burnley

Worst I've ever listened to. Albion are four up but it should be double that.

Poor fans. They have to wait 20 years to get a convincing result they can celebrate.

West Brom must salivate when they see Wards name on the team sheet, twice they have dished up massacres and twice he has been on the receiving end?!?!?

It must be a Ward curse as he was on the bench the last time WBA scored four as well, against Burnley
