Sandro; another Modric?

If what you say is true then Fulham's junior club certainly achieved their objective.

Now that's what I call classy

United and County are generic terms, not Hotspur.

Do you have any proof to say you took the permission to use the name 'Hotspur'?

Do you have any proof that permission was needed or are you just talking carp again?

My point is that the Modric saga did no one any good. Unsettled some of your players and angered the fans.

My question is do you want a possibility of that happening again with Sandro?

Thanks for clarifying, but how is this unique to Sandro?

Could this not be posted on nearly every teams board regarding their up and coming players?

This is the part i couldnt understand ....
" Is it wise to set up the possibility or a brawl between Tottenham and Barca/Real/United/Chelsea again next summer?"

What are the alternative options :- as extending his contract for less time wouldnt make any difference, do you suggest we wait so we can release him on a free?

CPofL, you do realise that you can improve from last season but still not be good enough to beat City nd Utd

Obers, I told you this article would resort in name-calling you WUM

Football League
Record attendance: 84,569, Manchester City v Stoke City, (Maine Road, 3rd March 1934)
Premier League
Highest attendance, single game: 76,398, Manchester United v. Blackburn Rovers (at Old Trafford, 31 March 2007)

Genius Greaves

I don't know what historical football books you get your statistics from but every one I open says that the Stoke v Man City game was actually the 6th Round of the FA Cup. not the Football League.

Every book that I open says that the Football League record is actually Chelsea v Arsenal, on October 12th 1935, a Division one fixture that was attended by 82,905 people. Still it was a nice attempt to try to rewrite history so that Spurs could have some fake bragging rights

Chronic

So our stadium looks lopsided and ridiculous does it? Well its bigger than yours and it doesn't have the restricted views that the Shelf has. Now that really does look like ridiculous in the modern era.

"Could this not be posted on nearly every teams board regarding their up and coming players"

Difference is you have a stubborn owner who is willing to unsettle the team and keep an unhappy player.

"This is the part i couldnt understand ....
" Is it wise to set up the possibility or a brawl between Tottenham and Barca/Real/United/Chelsea again next summer?"

So you would be happy seeing your club embark on another transfer saga next summer?

I can only see this panning out on way unfortunately.. Another long summer transfer saga

Were you on old 606 Edin?

Obers, I was but was a sensible poster back then really tbh. Only started becoming the poster I am today about April time.

Did you have a Haven in the old 606?

Charlag :

You are on the right path, but not strictly correct.

The deal is that Spurs only sell their superior players to big clubs who can afford the Levy tax.

In the PL, the only club that satisfies the criteria on both counts is Man Utd.

Chelsea are a small club who cannot afford the Levy tax.
That is why they didn't get Modric.
And that is why they will not get Sandro either.

Gunnery Sergeant Levy says :

Dismissed !!! Now, you ladies carry on ( #freesandro etc) .

Chelsea......................Unfortunately I used Wiki & it clearly put it as a League fixture, so they are definitely wrong there.

As for trying to get bragging rights for Spurs, where have I done that?

The only other stats I have shown are the Average attendance tables for the top division...................

By the way Chelsea, we own our ground, Chelsea lease theirs!!

posted on 9/9/11

genius - you mean that Fulham's junior club don't actually own the grass that they play on

You'll be telling me next that the name that they play under isn't theirs either.

posted on 9/9/11

Now you come to mention it DC5.......................

posted on 9/9/11

So it seems that Fulhams junior team, who dont own their own pitch, and dont play under their own name, and have to share boots and are owned by a gangster, and have no soul, and who's support rhymes with "ducking grit", hand your superior club their a55es almost every time we meet.

Blimey lads, not really something to shout about is it ??

Oh dear - head to head Spurs have been the better side in every decade bar 2 .... strangely the decades when the club had money thrown at it

It amazes me that some people think that money can buy everything - sadly in Fulham's junior club it can't.

No class, no style, no substance, no history, no ground, no name and no friends.

DC5

If you needed to wiki that about a "Fulham"dice being loaded, then I guess you are a young man who has not travelled much, tis a well known moniker, the way to do it is to drill out the No.1 and fill it with lead, this ensures the weighted side lands on the board revealing the No. 6.

As regards "what the russian saw in us" well, he had already visited WHL, and was on the verge of buying you lot, deal struck, but then his copter took off from battersea heliport, he saw the bridge and the surrounding area, and took the journey across the Thames, and in doing so fell in love with HQ, leaving you at the altar, alone, with your bouquet dangling by your side, like a stood up bride, ugly, but nevertheless saddened.

Oh well, never mind eh, you always have Joe Lewis as your backer, he's the one you see at all the home, sorry away, sorry you dont see him do you, unlike old Roman, but never mind, he'll get fed up soon eh

That will be the last 2 decades then, the most recent you mean, right

Unlike joe Lewis and you lot with his money, but that doesn't count does it.

Look mate, face it, you are the rough end of town, and we are the pleasant end, face it, if you had to be associated with one part of London, which would it be;

Tottenham high road or the kings road

Answers on a postcard please to P.O box.....

As I said: No class, no style, no substance, no history, no ground, no name and no friends.

Oh - you do have a russian owner that knows eff all about football, undermines the manager and throws money around when things go wrong.

The "he saw the bridge and the surrounding area, and took the journey across the Thames" - it's an urban myth as he already owned property in London - that's The London, not the bit called Fulham .

WHL in Tottenham - owned and paid for
Stamford Bridge in Fulham - rented but unaffordable

Last filed accounts
Tottenham - £7m loss
The Rent Boys - £78m loss

Guess those FFP rules and regulations are going to be harder for one of them to adhere to than the other .

Bye bye prize money
Bye bye transfers
Bye bye European football
Bye bye plastics
Bye bye Roman

As I said: No class, no style, no substance, no history, no ground, no name and no friends.

First off no class;
From a club who are still trying to steal the freebie stadium at stratford from under the feet of west ham, classy son real classy

No Style;
What are you on about, the name Chelsea is synonomous with style, while the name Tottenham is synonomous with rioting. As far back as the 60's when we were mods, all chic and lambretta while you lot were rockers/greasers, piddling on each others clothes in some strange initiation ceremony.

No substance
One club,
One home,
One name,
One hundred years

No history;
I think you mean no success, history is the passing of time, everything has history,

No ground.
We have Stamford bridge as our ground, you should visit it sometime, you go home with no points but hey ho it will be a trip to the leafier part of the capital, an eye opener, will show you that the world is not covered with halal butchers, just Tottenham

No name.
Our Name is Chelsea, you have mentioned it often enough in other posts.

And finally no friends;
Possibly the most childish thing ever posted on JA 606, and as you can imagine it is up agin some stiff competition

Oh - you do have a russian owner that knows eff all about football, undermines the manager and throws money around when things go wrong.

How do you know so much about such a private man, is it from the pages of celeb magazine, or the sun. If you have facts regarding the guy, please feel free to print them, otherwise I will be forced to view them as idle speculation and unfounded conjecture

The "he saw the bridge and the surrounding area, and took the journey across the Thames" - it's an urban myth as he already owned property in London - that's The London, not the bit called Fulham

As I asked earlier, where would you sooner be associated with mate The Tottenham high road or the kings road
