you might get some after England were hammered by the India A team.
Another strong Indian A side fielded today.
It looks like a warm up for their first team to be fair.I think there's likely to be 7-8 of the Indian team that have played in the first 2 games playing in the first ODI.

Woakes' position in the side for me is dependent on how he has been bowling at the death. It's not always clear from just looking at the scorecard, but having said that he's gone at 7 per over in both games so far...
Good win for the A team against England with Rahane and Raina getting some much needed game time especially with both being out injured for a while now. Rishabh Pant reminds me so much of a left handed Sehwag - little footwork but the speed of his hands is ridiculous. Looks like he can keep well too. One to watch out for. Hard to predict our XI that will start on Sunday but I would say it be something like this:
Rahul
Dhawan
Kohli
Rahane/Yuvraj depending on the formers fitness
Raina
Dhoni
Pandya
Jadeja
Ashwin
Bumrah
Umesh/Bhuvi
What sort of form is Yuvraj in these days?
I've not heard much about him in ages!
Won't Rohit open and Rahul miss out?
Don't think Rohit made the playing squad Serial - still injured I believe as he had surgery not too long ago.
Yuvraj is a fading light but he still hits the ball cleaner than most players in domestic Indian cricket. He's worked hard on his fitness to get himself back into contention for selection and that's pretty testament to the hard work he must have put in because at 35 he's no spring chicken.
Fair play to Yuvraj considering the illness he had a few years ago. I thought he was finished to be honest other than whacking the occasional 6 in the IPL.
Serial.. I don't think the games will be high scoring.. I wouldn't be surprised if India produce slow turners.. Looking at our spinning options. doesn't look that good to me.
I agree on Morgan.. I don't like him personally he appears to be over confident. when hes actually pretty useless.
anyway not nitpicking.. you have stokes twice in your 11 unless your letting him bat twice.
Lol..
May be Uncle Serial needs new glasses
Or he has posters of Stokes in his bedroom and he wants him to bat twice.. ha ha ha!
On a serious note; England team will be lot more competitive in shorter formats and I may not be surprised if they win the ODI series!
That'll teach me for editing my article!
Make this thread official for ODIs.. It's better to have new & fresh thread for 2017
India has got the weakest opening pair. Even when rohit comes back, we don't have explosive pair. Rohit, dhawan and rahane are all slow starters. Rahul is still early in his career but could be what India need.
As much as I admire dhoni I think it's the right time that we have got a new limited overs captain. Our limited overs form has been pretty shaky.
Viru,
How ru bro? Wanted to know ur opinion on Dhoni but may be u forgot huh!
Anyways I respect ur views as you are cool poster my frnd
Kumble has apparently said Rahane will play in the top order meaning it will probably be him opening with Dhawan. That means Rahul is likely to miss out which is a shame.
Serial,
What score do you reckon you'll get hammered by tonight? We got few key players missing so you have a huge advantage
