This was one area dhoni made a big fuss. We literally had every match where dhoni complained that they don't have a good batsman to play at no. 6. I reckon dhoni can't be the man playing at the end because he just takes too many deliveries to get going. Jhadav has exactly proved the opposite. If given the opportunity we do have plenty of power hitters but it's just a shame that we haven't tried many.

Imo this is the batting order we should have for CT, Rahul, rohit, kohli, yuvi/raina/rayudu, dhoni, and jhadav and pandya.

Our opening pairs are very old styled and today was a blessing in disguise that they got out quick as they would have given us a very slow start. Not sure why we are not pushing the openers to be more attacking and especially when there are lots of flat pitches around. There nothing to be scared of.

Kohli yet again proves he is the king. He is the master in this format. I really can't remember the last Indian captain in any formats leading India from the front as Kohli is.

Jadhav played a blinder. His high strike rate was what allowed India to only have to chase 60 odd in the last 10 because at 63-4 the game looked absolutely dead and buried. Morgan allowed it to drift I feel although his bowlers didn't help him too much. There was that one punch shot from Kohli off Woakes for 6 which was incredible, not seen anything like that.

Time to move on from Rashid.. he will never make it,.. Ok taking wickets in country cricket when the brainless middle order batsman who gets to play every day. just goes out and whacks Rashid straight up in the air and gets caught. and then plays the next day..
Hes been found out massively in international level. He bowls to short...

It's hard being a leg spinner in cricket. I think the majority of them have been taken to the cleaners time and again. Rashid just happens to be another in the list.

Some very valid points u made about Dhoni.

For me it's time to move on from Dhawan, Yuvi & Dhoni. I told before we have the talent and new folks should be given chance. Just my view on Mishy in tests was absolutely correct and new lad Jayant did amazing. We are not so ruthless in getting old hags out like Aussies when their time is up.

Even Parthiv Patel showed he can bat better than Dhawan and open too in his recent comeback. Dhoni is not the same batsmen for last few years or so! Many good players got screwed by Dhoni like Manish, Badrinath & many more.. But many useless players were getting many chances due to his favors!
