The result of the popular vote isn't relevant since both parties build their campaigns in order to win the electoral system. If the election was decided by the popular vote, then the entire campaigns would be set up differently and the voting patterns would most likely change.
It’s similar here in the UK with the FPTP.

I heard all sorts of things regarding the Universal Healthcare issue. I think they're going to repeal it and come back with a replacement.

Don't know the whole story with obamacare, but it would seem to me like republicans have to be special types of greedy idiots if they think it's a bad idea. Wouldn't it benefit most of trumps core support?
