Robb, he's bending over for Putin which might reduce tensions with the Russians, yet he's infuriated and wound up the real contender for world superpower in China. I don't think we need to worry about China. They have no desire to go to war with anyone. Their name means 'Middle nation' which means they see themselves as the middle of the world and don't have any need or want to invade anywhere.

I understand the Taiwan situation is volatile but I can't see china risking nuclear destruction just for Taiwan.

I've tried to explain to people for years that the very existence of nuclear weapons in a way means massive wars unlikely to happen. It stopped the Cold War going hot. Mutually assured destruction has a handy way of stopping millions of troops going into a country with nukes.

China are now an economic powerhouse. They won't risk losing it all just for Taiwan and I think Trump knows that.

It isn't just Taiwan though. Claims of a 40% tarrif on Chinese imports will cripple America. He does that, the Chinese govt then says give us the trillions of dollars you owe us.

See. Those are claims. So many people are so quick to dismiss some of what he says and then hold other quotes as gospel to what he's about to do. We don't know what he's going to do yet, and until then, we need to approach things with a clear conscious.

China is sitting on a major bubble that is the Real Estate market and they cannot possibly continue their massive expansion projects that are not generating economic benefits for their country. The people are so wealthy there that they are throwing away their money or trying to park their illegal money in a foreign investment. When things go south, not only do we Americans suffer but the Chinese will as well.

Those Chinese government are Enron-ing this shiiit for the last 15 years. Of course their numbers are going to look okay. If you go to the smaller cities, like your Xi'an, Xiamen, Hainan, Dailan, etc there are masses of unfinished, abandoned, empty projects outside the cities. The numbers make no sense given what is actually out there in the cities.
