Really, I would debate that, but as there is a small US Muslim population, living under homeland security, far away from Muslim lands, you could be right.
How many gay folk,or other Christians have been killed by American Christians?
How many woman are oppressed, and is FGM a problem in the christian US areas?

What is the christian US threat?

Now, islamists wiping out Christianity in the middle east,Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan...that is a real threat.

In a 2011 analysis of FBI hate-crime statistics, the Southern Poverty Law Center found that “LGBT people are more than twice as likely to be the target of a violent hate-crime than Jews or black people Sexual orientation motivated roughly 20 percent of hate crimes in 2013, according to the FBI

Only race attacks are higher

The FBI is following up on leads and tips concerning the practice of female genital mutilation in the US, where it says more than 500,000 women and girls are at risk

We believe some of it is being conducted by medical practitioners – physicians, nurses, midwives said Special Agent Kerry Spark

As for wiping out Christianity. Can't speak for all countries but in Pakistan its the joint second biggest religion and Christians have high ranks in the air force, navy and army

In fact tariq Aziz Saddam's right hand man was christian

Honestly, old Tariq gets a mentions as token christian over and over...the fact you can name the one prominent so called christian speaks volumnes.Tariq was not Christ like😠

There may well be some Christians in n Muslim lands, but they have suffered death and mass ethnic cleansing, and what did Muslims ms do to help?

A lot of stuff worries me bluebell. He's explained it somewhat in my extremely limited understanding of it (and that goes for any religeon as none of them make any sense to me), in the way it's written.

Dint t really have a problem with people's beliefs. It's the twisted drivers behind those who use them for their own ends that I hate. And those drivers are at fault behind all wars, all hatred between ethnic groups.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair points baz, and I concur.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think deep down we all do mate. It just gets caught up in all the bullsheite of politics and greed etc, I try not to let it influence me. Just cover what I believe in, and generally that's science to an extent. I can understand why religeon exists-as otherwise you realise it's all largely pointless and inconsequential. People have to believe that they lived for something, and there's something afterwards.

And who an I to say they are wrong? It's just that these 'beliefs' are used to further evil drives. Hijacked if you will.

I don't think multiculturalism is dead in muslim lands tbab

I have travelled a bit and only faced racism in Europe. Racism where I wasn't given a chance

I have been to Saudi, for example and was treated very well. No problem with being from another country

My wife is white and my friends wife is white and they have faced more racism in this country than in Muslim lands

Don't believe all you read
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is sad and brings shame to us, especially people like me who try to push a positive and progressive form of christian belief, patriotism, and unionism/ loyalism n Ulster and the UK.
I counter racism here, and hate thugs who abuse on grounds of colour or creed, believe it or not.

No time for fools chanting f Allah and the like, as like Isis fans, they are wrong.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes I would say there are Muslim nutters.

The thing for me is having honesty in discussions. I don't defend terrorism and I have no problem saying something isn't Islamic when it isnt.

For me its vital to have honesty and if I can use women priests as an example. I am a for women's rights and his I treat my daughters is crucial to me in terms of education and opportunity in a world that favours men BUT ( and try and understand this please rather than simply labelling me misogynist etc) if my religion says ghag women shouldn't be priests then I would still support my daughter if that's what she wanted but I would still say it was against the religion.

Hope that makes sense?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rdd I see your point but disagree. I don't think religion is confusing in itself.

What does confuse it is people "pretending" to be religious whilst following their own whims and desires

See my point earlier about women priests. Not saying agree with it or even I agree or disagree.

This is why even if we are not religiously inclined we need to explore and educate ourselves on religion. And no not to become a believer but so we can challenge

From an Islamic perspective, purely as I am Muslim, in one hand you have that woman on that TV programme saying she doesnt need to pray but writes letters and is a Muslim as Islam is a heart thing. Then you have the fundamentalists like say Hama's who use Islam as their reason for nationalism etc. Both are talking BS and Islam is clear on how to be Muslim its belief in the heart and actions, not praying is non Islamic and so is nationalism. The verses and hadith for this are many and simple. As simple as those who don't pray/do nationalism are not one of us.

Here is the thing RDD. If a fella in a pub, whilst aupoing a Stella is talking about Islam being the religion of peace or whatever its safe to say take it with a pinch of salt.

I see the guys who get airtime on TV etc and its obvious where the confusion is. I mean that doctor naseem dude from MCB? I met him first time 30 years ago when he was making money doing circumcusions, i kid you not

Sahabah were companions of the Prophet. I suppose the equivilant would be disciples in Christianity

Hamzah itbe name of one of the first people to become Muslim, he was Muhammads uncle and a warrior. Assad means Lion so Asaas Allah means lion of Allah.
