As a muslim for I know there is no law in the islam were it says women should wear a burqa. Most of muslim women wear a headscarf.

@ Reddevilsdouble - Jesuispallister (U12215) I know you are a racist b@st@rd.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As a Muslim you should/will know what a burqa and niqaab is.

I'd you do you will know there is a Quranic ayaat saying wear niqaab and the 4 schools of thought agree but differ on its obligation. Some based on the ayat about hajj
----------------------------------------------------------------------

[sigh]... how quickly it become a legalistic discourse about things largely irrelevant to most.

Next can we please ban women over a certain size from wearing leggings in public?

Agree with the leggings ban, and while we're at it how about
Wearing hats back to front. WTF is that all about
Idiots who wave their hands about and point their fingers while speaking like they're pretending to be Ali G.
Funniest thing I ever saw some years ago was in Malaysia and there was this bloke taking a picture of 7 ladies in Burqas all doing the Two-finger thing in front of some landmark
Was just wondering if there is some magazine full of saucy shots of ladies in burqas

Men dressing as women scares me more, f*cking Kellie Maloney and the like,
Much rather sit next to a woman with her face covered than a bloke with tiiiits and a f4nny
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bobby, that does look hideous, actually quite scary
----------------------------------------------------------------------
General all Bobby has to do is look in the mirror to get that effect.

I'm offended by this comment.

Muslim women do not have sèex. That's why there are 40 virgins for each man in heaven. What do you think would happen if Muslim women started putting out, there would be no virgins for the martyrs!

What you going to convince suicide boomers now? A quick hand job from an experienced c0ćk handler and a twix? Doesn't quite have the same ring.

A man asked a Muslim man: Why do your women cover their bodies and their hair? The Muslim man smiled and took two sweets, he opened one and kept the other closed. He threw them both on the dirty floor and then asked: If I asked you to take one of the sweets, which one would you choose? The man replied: The covered one. Then the Muslim man said: That’s how we see and treat our women.

Yes that is meant to be the concept behind it but it's been abused so much now.

That's why you keep jewels in a box where no one see it.

Or, more likely it's another example of some bullshéite religious nonsense used to make people behave the way they want.

Either way, nothing against it myself (lots against all religions), but I think Austria are out of line.

I'm actually writing this from Vienna, and wondered why there were loads of headlines about the Burkha.

Frankly I think it's a good move to be honest, regardless of what the do good-ers say a lot of people in the west feel uneasy when people have their faces covered. I can't walk around inside a shopping centre in a balaclava, I'd be stopped in no time.

It's just the way things are here, you don't cover your face to cover your identity, it's why most places request bike helmets are removed and you aren't allowed to wear a hoody in most shops.

I've no problem at all with headscarves, that's absolutely fine but I'm not happy with anything that conceals identity in public whether the person is Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Muslim.

Do you think countries such as the UAE are out of line requesting that females cover their shoulders and knees when dressing? It's on a bloody big sign entering the Dubai mall so let's not pretend this has been made up by the daily mail.

Yes, as I explained earlier there are no women in Arab countries because they don't have seex . They need to keep themselves pure to be a virgin in heaven for the men when they get up there. This has led to no births since 200ad.

So, those signs are frankly a waste of uae taxpayers money.,

Think its been mentioned before but there is nothing written in Islam that a woman has to cover her face. This is something that has been taken to the extreme by Wahabism.

Last summer I was at a school trip with my youngest there was one lady in a burka and I could see how uneasy it made other parents and kids as they could not communicate with her. As a fellow Muslim I couldn't get much out of her either.

I've got no issues with Burka being banned in public places as long as they don't take it to the next level which is to ban the hijab.
