He went with Hughes and Bryson the most in his CM pairing didn't he?
Did Ince dive?
Pearson got the squad totally wrong in my opinion. Bryson and Hughes are never 442 players TOGETHER. But he persisted...and as Spart has just said he even left Hughes out at the start. I will back any Manager we appoint till i dont like what im seeing. I feel out of love with Nutter very soon and Spart was right all along.
I am behind the goal and I thought Ince's standing leg was took. I didnt see many protests from Bristol. Only seen it once tho.
Yeah difficult to tell from that one angle.....I'm a little bit away from the goal.
Watch their number 9 run away from Keogh for 2 and 3; he gambles and gets free chances because Keogh just gives up and lets him go.
Still, I'm sure that's the midfielders' fault, and that we shouldn't expect our centrehalves to defend in the six yard box: Carson's area, surely?

I knew Pearson was a clueless nutter when he left Will and Chris out of his first team. Some posters even said I was wrong.
Pritchard played well and scored two goals.
How did Taylor miss that open goal? And I don't think it was a penalty. We were lucky to get anything.

Spart though he was a great appointment at the start, hardly right all along.
I thought he was a good appointment until 15 minutes before the opening game when I saw the team. Then I had my doubts. Then the performances were dire as well as the results and I no longer had doubts.
Vidal was convinced he would come good some time in the future. He says the same of Vydra. Again I have my doubts.
We appear to have reverted to the side at the end of the 2015 season. Ince and Bent scoring for fun and calamitous defending. That season did not end well.
Yeah i remember now Igor but he quickly turned. My bad saying all along.
I was only taking the pee.
With Pearson the idea was right, the execution was all wrong. Didn't and don't have the players for his tactics and had more square pegs in round holes than round ones.
If he'd seen that and changed it he'd have had a few windows to bring his round pegs in, but he went all Canute on us and his sacking was inevitable. He'd have taken us down, no doubt about it.
You may of been...but you were right

See...this lad does know his stuff.
Great to see a Gabbiadini back scoring in the top league.
And a great finish from the ooh so injury prone Shane Long.

Its uncomfortable from The Simon Cowell of the 606.
Virtually all managers are one-trick ponies, they might have success at one club, but can't change their styles when they go to another and if their types of players aren't available, they fail. Forget plan a, b and c, it doesn't really exist in the real world.
Pearson was the epitome of that. Struck lucky at Leicester, but hasn't repeated it anywhere else and probably won't again.
