I always reckoned if Clement had taken over and we were a PL team he'd have been more of a success and if he does keep Swansea up, would go a long way to show that he is capable to coach in the top flight.


Problem was, the championship is a different animal and especially going to one of the biggest clubs in it but also it been his first time been a number one.

Nope but he has won the Dutch league as a manager, won the Champions League, League and some other cup in one season as assistant and got Boro to a european final so not a bad record. He also failed miserably at Forest so that is another plus point.

We were boring but we were 5th! Had to be more to his sacking than just the Derby way nonsense.

Fishy question Ang.

We were on a run of 7 games witout a win and didn't look like getting another when Clement was sacked. Clubs seemed to have worked us out.

His football was boring and we were going down the league. I heard his interview after the bore draw 0-0 against Preston. Not for me that bloke. Like Igor says...his coachig methods maybe better to a survival side...not a side trying to go forward.

Perhaps the Swansea players like a lie down in the afternoon ?
