When has Haye ever got gassed in a 12 round fight? I honestly don't get where this comes from, Bellew was always going to be the more tired stepped up in weight etc. Haye is always in excellent condition, the guy fought on 1 leg for 6 rounds and still fkin won 2-3 of them

Thompson. If you were a casual you would know that.

And his low punch output

And in other heavyweight bouts he has struggled with his stamina against Ruiz and Barret.

Exactly. People that can't see that are just letting their clear hatred of Haye get in the way of logic.

Anyway well done David Haye, showed unbelievable heart tonight. Just hope he can recover soon so that he can easily beat Bellew in a rematch.

Casuals who don't know much about the sport will call him a bum.

Thompson early in his career about 15 years ago jesus D4, he's gone 12 rounds with heavyweights like Valuev and Klitschko since then

Casuals who don't know much about boxing will hype and lick Rigo's ass, he is a bum exactly like Ortiz who i called about 4-5 years back and look how he turned out.

They look good because they fight nobodies, Rigo's probably even more over hyped than Ortiz

Its boring anyway, trying to talk sense into D4 is like trying to make a nonce not be a nonce, impossible, he's thick as $hit and knows nothing about boxing

Valuev and Klitschko. You wouldn't even gas fights at that pace.

A lot of fanboys on here. They just love the boxers rather than boxing itself and say whatever to defend their favorite boxers.

Granted, the other names on the list are not exactly illustrious but who has fought only the best?

It never nothing personal with me, I just call it like I see it.

How many fights did Haye pull out from before he retired?

Get out of your delusion. Haye is finished. He will fight on though as he needs the money.

Of course he still has the power, it is the last thing that goes, but any half decent boxer knows they just need to stay away from his single shots and pick him off later in the fight.

David Haye is to undergo surgery on his Achilles in the next few hours.

Bellew was barely able to pick off a one legged Haye later in the fight so there's nothing to suggest he would have been able to do that to a two legged Haye.

The fact is that Bellew was on course to lose this fight, maybe not by ko as Haye promised but there isn't a cat's chance in hell that Bellew was winning this fight if Haye hadn't pulled up injured with an injury that had nothing to do with anything Bellew did.

He knocked him out.
Haye hit Bellew with some big shots and Bellew took them.

Bellew mad him miss and made him pay.

Haye talked a good game but couldn't back it up. Bellew backed it up.

On a brighter note all those Liverpudlians on benefits would have made a killing if they listened to Haye's advice.

D4 what's funny is that earlier in this thread you gave Bellew no chance to win and insinuated that this was a total mismatch by comparing it to the Brook vs GGG fight. Yet when Bellew flukely wins the fight tonight you seem to insinuate that it was all part of the plan and he was always going to win.

You said:

"So a bellow world class light-heavy goes up 3 stone and takes on a world class heavyweight, and you think this is a fight? Nice one Edddie, you might as well put Kell Brook in with Golovkin..... Oh wait you already done that".

So which one is it? You can't have it both ways here ?

Yeah with one leg. It's actually quite embarrassing that Bellew wasn't able to stop a fighter with use of only one leg much earlier than he did. Not that he even stopped Haye anyway, his corner threw the towel in.

Bellew should have had no chance against a top heavyweight. But Haye had issues, like I said they both needed the fight for the same reason, a big pay day and a fight they both they thought they could win.

Bellew boxed smart and knew Haye's body would break down it did.

Haye showed all he got is his power, can't put combos together can hardly jab and lacks real stamina

It was a mismatch but Haye showed he was conning the British public and that he is a spent force.

Not only embarrassing it cost me £200.
