BBC are completely inept with there boxing coverage and articles. Sky Sports at least put in a modicum of effort despite failing miserably.

D4 must hate the more popular fights. I bet he wished only him and his 'experts' were allowed to comment.

I just like to point and laugh a fools getting mugged off.
I bet you fell for the pantomime, didn't you?

says the guy who still watched the fight and is still commenting about it

Had some money on the fight and I watch most fights. The problem with casuals is they just come out for the hype fights but ignore the great match up that go on.

so you had money on it, talked about the fight beforehand, watched the fight, and are now talking about the fight...
so glad D4 didnt fall for it

Made some money on the fight. Should have made a lot more.
The best scrap between a Scouser an a one legged person since McCartney vs Mills
Best way to describe the fight
Reading back, so many idiots giving Bellew unwarranted praise.
He couldn't knock out a standing target ffs. Haye was injured, Bellew didn't out box him.
In fact, Bellew was blowing out his backside after 7 rounds, if Haye hadn't got injured he was going down for sure.

Because he emptied the tank on him in 6 and 7.
That is what happens.
"Because he emptied the tank on him in 6 and 7.

And still couldn't knock him out. A man who could barely walk.
Not worthy of praise imo. He got lucky, end of.
Would love to see him fight a Wilder or somebody similar.

Haye's got a solid chin, and could still bang.
Bellew didn't want to punch himself out or be reckless.
Time was on his side. And Haye still had head and body movement as well as a guard.

Come on man, he was fighting a bloke with a ruptured tendon. Most people can't walk after such an injury.
This is professional boxing, not some blokes in the street. An injury like that should have seen him out within a minute.

Bellew wasn't even trying to box until the injury, don't quite understand what his game plan was because he didn't look fit enough to go the distance with a fully fit Haye
Their plan was to take Haye into the later rounds. They hit the lottery when David's leg gave way. Still couldn't finish him off though. Haye was winning up on points up until he got injured.
Yeah, I must say, I don't like either fighter tbh. However Haye went up in my estimations after that.
Perhaps the broken toe thing had more of an impact on his ability to land punches vs Klitch than we thought?
