I honestly wouldn't swap. I think that in the long term Pogba will prove the better player. Alli is limited in many parts of the game. Admittedly he's young and might improve his all round game, but based on the ability I've seen to date, I think Pogba has more talent.

Alli is Lampard upgraded.

Pogba is Gerrard downgraded.

I am still yet to see what Pogba offers other than the chipped ball through to Ibra and some nice footwork. He doesn't appear to excel at anything. I just don't see him succeeding in the Premier League.

I see you neglected his games for Juventus in the CL where he had some absolutely brilliant games. Go watch his performance away at Bayern last season for example. If Alli ever does something as good as that I'll take notice

Ignoring how good each was at the age of 20, I'd say the rankings, based on everything we have seen, is probably:

Lampard>Alli>Pogba>Noble>Gerrard

But we'll see whether Alli/Pogba/Noble can push themselves up the rankings.

Alli is simply a better player than Pogba so it's unfair to Pogba to expect him to compete with someone more naturally talented, more motivated and more professional.

That United paid the ninety million or whatever it was is an utter irrelevance. It's just extraordinarily embarrassing to United, but if have got lots of money you might as well spend it.

But obviously, if Alli was wearing the United red shirt, people would be repeatedly calling Ali one of the best in the world.

It's simply bizarre of you to make out that Pogba failed in the CL. It's in those games he built up such a great rep.

Regarding the Pl, like many people have told you - they play in different positions so why compare at all?
