On 9 April 2017, Rossi suffered the fifth serious injury of his career when he ruptured the ACL in his left knee in a game against SD Eibar, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

So perhaps not then

Sounds exactly like the kind of player we would sign. Perfect fit.

After a brilliant start what a disastrous ending to the window. Wolves confident that they will get whoever they want with 25 million pounds to spend get rid of Dicko, Mason and Bod and then get caught with their pants down when they can't get anybody to replace them.

The foreign stars that we've got and maybe even nuno himself are not going to be impressed by this. A team with only one striker and him with only 5 games and 2 goals experience of English football looks a long way off from the Promotion certs they thought they were joining

Depends how fluid the front three is I guess. I think we could play any three from Bonatini, Costa, Jota, Cavaleiro, Bright, Zyro and Wilson and sill be a threat.

The example is Liverpool, who rarely play with an out and out striker, but with a fluid front three. They are one of the more threatening attacking teams.

The usual pantwetters are out again I see

Getting did of Bod, Mason and Misso for around 7-8 Million is good business THEY COULDNT SCORE !

Not getting a striker in is frustrating but not the end of the world. We have goals in this side without them

last season Huddersfield got to the play-offs and only scored 56 goals, sheff weds managed 60

So from here to the end of the season we have 41 league games to score about 60 goals, assuming the defence is tight, and that might be enough to scrape us over the line.

So would someone care to divi those 60 up between the known players we have available. Doesn't look good to me.

Of course Fosun can afford to pay the inflated prices that occur in January, we'll see.

Not a question of "pantwetting", Sir Halfy, just a question of commenting on what has occurred.
Fosun and all at Wolves recognised the need for an out and out striker, hence the numerous attempts to sign one. That hasn't happened for whatever reason so must be viewed as a failure on their parts.
Whether that comes back to bite us remains to be seen and I hope that this "fluid" front line works and we beat every other team 1-0. Somehow I doubt that will happen so suspect that we will need more goals.
All teams have one or two players that score significantly more goals than their team mates. Unfortunately, Wolves are relying on unproven and inconsistent forwards to become that player. We might be lucky and the players step-up, remain injury free and develop a consistency so far lacking, however based on many seasons of following Wolves, I doubt that we will be that lucky.

Feel free to call me a pant-wetter in May if we are promoted and I'll feel free to remind you of your delusion if we're not.

each... if they bring in around 15 each yes it still leaves a hole. but we have the hand we have, gotta make the most of it and let it play out
