I thought it was 100k as well.

Disappointing that Sissoko is probably on so much money that we can't get him off the books.

I'd say about £120k is a reasonable amount for us, it's just about pushing everyone up maybe 10-15% more. Scandalous that Sissoko is even getting paid tbh

The problem with last minute shopping I suppose

I think a few will be looking for new deals tbh some reports Dier & Rose are getting new ones and obviously Toby too.

Dele on 50k needs to go up too.

I'm still not sold on Barkley as a first teamer yet - but for under £30million, in this market, then it's good for the squad. Sure I want more players to come in (Kovacic for me) but it's not all doom and gloom!

Poch has a system, every year our players stay in that system they get better - stands to reason that our current squad will all be better this year, that includes the bench!

Players do have a peak, plus if we don't change we will be a lot easier for other teams to prepare for.

This is almost certainly made up nonsense by the gutter media

There's shed loads of cash in the PL atm and value is determined by supply and demand. It's that simple. In terms of ratio between transfer and revenue, players are in fact more underpriced now than they were 10-15 years ago

Also, your view on Barkley is complete garbage imo. You want Spurs to pay up £9m or whatever for some CB who's played 7 games for his club in Argentina, but double the price is 'mental' for a 23 year old England international with 150+ PL games, who created more chances than anyone 23 or under in the top 5 leagues last year. Absolutely ridiculous and lacking in logic

If Barkley arrives at this club I think he'll prove a lot of people wrong

Worth a watch for any doubters btw, and it is what I envisage with him, much better Dembele replacement than Eriksen.

Plus if you look at his defensive actions he is much better at recovering the ball in his own third/half than he is in the oppositions.

nah not at all. I think £20m for a player who hasn't really done anything in his career to warrant that price tag is very steep.

people will point to potential. Ok, going by that then Harry Winks with a longer contract (and admittedly less experience) should be double the price, afterall, he has been hyped up as good enough for Real Madrid or Barca by Balague.

It's nonsense and the pricing has skyrocketed purely because of that faacking stupid fee paid for Paul Pogba

everyone has clicked on to the fact that cash is aplenty in the premier league and thus, prices are double and triple their actual worth
