Rosenborg were fit, efficient and well drilled as a team. However they were pretty poor quality wise, just just hard to break down.

What's to say they had an 'off night'?
They didn't, they played like a typical Scandinavian team with some decent players in the middle but lacking quality getting forward.
Keny can't even see over the guy infront without a booster seat

If Griffiths is back i would be reasonably confident. Not particularly because he's a world beater but because everyone will be comfortable with the system.
It was obvious from the off last night that our shape wasn't right. Sinclair and Rogic in particular weren't always sure of where they should be. Armstrong wasn't sure when to go forward or when to hold and Brown too deep.
I'm prepared to forgive last night, this team are entitled to an off night.

Very presumptious - especially as they were away from home. I think you will scrape through but appears people are thinking they were at their peak last night based on nothing really.

boyata from set pieces is a huge loss.
everytime we had a corner they wanted to take it short because we had no threat whatsoever in there.

Don't think it's all that presumptuous considering they're well into their season and put on similar performances in their previous two Euro ties.
That appears to be their level.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone more choking to be right about something! Maybe IE about Findlay not calling any witnesses-it's close!

Irvine
Some are too quick to forget how good this team can play and all of a sudden have us out on our erse despite us heading over there having kept a clean sheet at home (steady pointy)
Everyone is entitled to be angry at the performance but it's getting a bit silly now with people saying there's nothing to be confident about etc.
u want ur team to be ready for the qualifiers and the truth is we were not.
yes our 2 forwards got injured but why do we only have 2?
this "wait till august" schite irks me, it tells me we don't know who we want we are just seeing who we can get because their club doesnt want them
Short corners man
NNH they mis controlled a few times in key areas, Bendnter was very slow when through on goal at one point and cut back instead, they had another couple of mis hits in great positions at the end too. Not to mention the absolute sitter they missed. There will be a lingering annoyance with them they haven't scored an away goal

do we not want to improve? rosenborg are better than any team we will play in scotland.

Dembele didn't get injured until Monday so it didn't leave a great deal of time to get a solution either so as someone alluded to earlier, I'd like to think Rodgers will be working on something for the next week for the scenario that Griffiths doesn't make it.
we should never only have 2 ffs
if one gets injured, which btw seems to happen quite regularly, it leaves us 1 CF
has he just to play 90 minutes every week?
We played well in Europe as well last season Keny, sometimes we didn't get the result we deserved, sometimes we did.
The notion that only played well domestically is nonsense.

Dunno.. Aberdeen gave us tougher games last season.
Same hamstring for Dembele Rodgers said too. Bit of a worry considering that was mid April he done it and he's now out again for 6-8 weeks.
Rumors that Sviatchenko could be offski too btw, if they sold him now then it's an absolute farce. We're one defensive injury away from being thread bare at the back too. Already teetering.
One more striker is a must now, I'd have thought Atchison would have at least been a back up until we got someone but the fact he was nowhere to be seen says a lot.
If we can get through this round then we absolutely must buy one.
That said, not many were totally clambering for us to sign one 2 weeks ago.

You only have a few general scenarios, some of which are-
1 a good team playing well
2 a good team under performing
3 a bad team playing above itself
4 a bad team having a mare.
You can also have good and bad teams playing at their own level.
When you watch a lot of top level football you learn to tell the difference.
