It's making his position more and more untenable, which is what he wants.

Most spurs fans are very positive about him even if he leaves (most of us wish we could leave) but him being so vocal before the end of the season leaves a sour taste

Easier said than done. He's "putting the pressure on" to borrow a spurs related phrase. If levy acquiesces, it'll be worth it in Kane's eyes.

But then he’ll be the one who pretended to love the club/fans and pulled dirty/disrespectful tricks to get a move from the club. As Daz said I appreciate Levy is tough to work with but no matter how Kane acts there is no way he’s accepting less than 100m.

It’s not like he’s done anything bad, apart from wanting to leave. Some fans will never forgive that. But putting it out there that he wants to leave, and trying to put some pressure on the chairman to allow that isn’t really tarnishing his legacy, in my opinion.

Tbf it was a bit of a throw away comment from myself that has gained arms and legs now. I don’t think he’s been that bad but I think being this vocal before the season is pretty waaaaaaanky - and I don’t blame him for instigating stuff, it’s the timing. However we are going to be left in the vacuum when he leaves - and I’d rather it not effect our league performance with the media circus that circulates and we miss out on Europa or whatever as a result.

Fabregas gave us lots of memories tbf, so I can understand why fans overlooked his caantishness. At the time it didn't look that bad and social media wasn't this huge thing so people didn't really cotton to what he was doing.

Nasri didn't really do much for us, bottled stepping up to the plate himself when cesc went on strike, and as you mention was a bit of a caaaant in general anyway. So I can understand the hostility towards him.

Having just watched Kane’s interview I take back most of what I said - a lot of quotes are just clearly click bait (which I kind of knew anyway) but that interview was fine. Also it was more recent TRS as he mentioned the VAR howler in disallowing his goal vs Leeds.
