I think saying you like someone should be taken in the context of football rather than them as a person. Vardy the player I like.

How has costa been for Spain has he been starting

Just watched he Spain highlights. De gea should've saved the goal. Did Aspas come on quite early? Seemed to be involved in a lot of play.

Isco on Zinedine Zidane:

"I want to show that I’m a good player. Lopetegui shows me confidence with the minutes he gives me.

"In Madrid, I don’t have the confidence a player needs.

"Maybe I’m the problem in Madrid. I don’t know how to win Zidane’s confidence."

was very impressed with Jorginho yesterday, can't wait to see him holding the United shirt in a few months

Isco knows he hasn't pulled up any trees at Madrid this season. Not the first time he's taken the blame for his shortcomings at the club either.

The last time he gave himself a public kick up the a*se it worked wonders for him. Let's hope he's serious about getting his act together this time 'round too.

Joao Santos (Jorginho’s agent): “Future in England? He has a certain value for Napoli, a certain figure that almost only Premier League clubs can afford. Moreover, he can't be sold to another club in Italy. To date, no official offers have arrived.”

Joao Santos: “He's being followed by big teams and that's normal because he plays at the highest level. As for Napoli, we haven't received a contract offer yet. Release clause? I don't agree. Napoli want to set it at €100m. It’s best to just not put one in.”

apparantly he had a poor game against England. Got criticized in Italy.

-------------------------------------------------

Quiet early on but came into the game a bit more as the 2nd half wore on and made a few incisive passes. Not one of his better nights overall though.

I'd take him although we'd need a change of manager to get the best out of him, like many of our players.

tbf with Italy he does not have Allan and Hamsik around him or Albiol pulling the strings behind him.

dont you think he may be a little slow and not mobile enuff for EPL?

-------------------------------------------

Yeah having Allan especially alongside him helps a lot as he does lots of running in that Napoli midfield and we don't have a player similar to that. Well actually that's not strictly true, we do but he's out on loan and he doesn't play in midfield anyway.

I think with the right players around him Jorginho would be ok. He'd need good movement ahead of him though, something we don't offer anywhere near enough of under Mourinho.

I'm torn as to what I want from the next couple of midfielders we bring in. If we go with a more mobile combative holding player, we're going to need somebody with more class and craft ahead of him. We could really do with a ball carrier with some agility too.

It's going to be interesting to see how our midfield takes shape next season.

RMC report that PSG have chosen their next manager & he is neither Italian (Conte, Ancelotti, Allegri) nor is he someone who is currently a free agent (Tuchel, Enrique).

RMC: PSG's next manager is someone who is currently active & with a release clause in his contract. They point to Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) & Sergio Conceicão (Porto) as the most likely names.
