Martial's still fairly inconsistent as are quite a few players at that age but he's still very one-dimensional. He's not mixed up his game at all really since arriving.

That said, he is a talent, one I'd rather we nurtured than watch him become a very good player somewhere else.

Risking losing him for relatively short term gains better be worth it.

Yeah that’s fair. I want him to stay. But I won’t be crying like many United fans would be as I don’t think he’s as good nor will be as good as many think.

I don’t like his sulky attitude either. I find it quite hard to warm to him, Rashford on the other hand I feel differently about even if Martial is better.

Looking like it’ll be a toss up between the two and I’d rather keep Rashford. Which is a shame as I’d rather have both but the signings of Lukaku and Sanchez has put an end to the idea of these two being our main two in attack for years to come. Though I can understand why given Mourinho’s history with developing young attackers and the strength of the top teams in the prem.

Wonder what cb’s Madrid will go for in the summer. With Ramos ageing, backups not great and Varane not really kicking on as expected you’d think they’ll look at it.

Yeah I like him too. I put his name forward as a potential Carrick replacement when he was at Porto.

Somebody like that and somebody a bit more robust and energetic would be good.

Fred seems like it could be a possibility if he doesn't go to City. Either way I think he'll end up in Manchester.

He's not the biggest or most physical of players but from what I understand he's mobile, has bags of energy, reads the game well defensively and can handle the ball.

TRS, yep looks to have the qualities we need in midfield. Though he is only playing in the championship, by all accounts his form really dropped off at Porto over the last couple of years so it’s no guarantee he’ll make an immediate impact.

Don’t know anything about Fred so can’t comment. Sounds like the sort of midfielder we could do with. I’m still not that convinced by Matic. He’s improved the midfield this season but I would prefer a better defensive midfielder to him. Doubt Mourinho agrees sadly.

I think Bale suffers more than anyone from Benzema’s absence. We know his importance to Ronaldo but we know Ronaldo is perfectly capable of being decisive without him. Bale isn’t on Ronaldo’s level so needs that help from Benzema far more. Still think Madrid look better with Isco playing instead of Bale though.
