Hasn’t he played there due to injuries? We could always replace Young with another right footed left back. But yeah there’s a question mark over his positioning from what I’ve seen, TRS. I think Mourinho could help there though and with our set up we probably won’t see him as exposed as how Monaco are with their gung ho football.
I want to bin the manager anyway, Arab. But that isn’t happening this summer. I’d be very surprised if both Pogba and Martial are gone next season. Ed and Mourinho won’t let that happen.
I assume it's been down to injuries. Yeah we definitely need another inverted full-back.
There does seem to be a smattering of people who actually think we'll get rid of Mourinho in the summer. There's no chance of that happening and from a certain POV, it's understandable given our league position and points total.
The league is what's saved him this season and even in then, we've been very fortunate at times, last couple of months especially.
You call it fortune, I call it De Gea.
Yeah the results have been pretty good in the league really. The performances less so, but people have conflicted the two. I don’t think this is a squad that is capable of getting over 90 points but we are looking good for mid 80’s and second place which most would take had you said that at the start of the season.
From the club’s perspective that’s big progress and they’ll be pleased to see back to back CL qualification for the first time since Fergie left. I don’t think style comes into that much for them otherwise we wouldn’t have appointed the coaches we have.
I think they’ll be content with this season, especially if we can pick up the cup, which makes Mourinho’s job pretty safe.
Next season though I think winning the league will be needed for Mourinho to really justify his position.
I've got a feeling that this is just as good as it gets for us in the league under him, I don't think we'll win it as long as he's in charge.
Neither do I. But I don’t think we’d be winning it with anyone else either as I expect City to dominate now Pep’s really getting together the team that he wants. With that in mind it makes far more sense tor us to appoint an attacking manager. But the club doesn’t think like fans do.

Player of the season again for me which speaks volumes. He's been facing more shots this season than in previous seasons and according to OPTA's xG, he's prevented 14 more goals than your average GK would've. Guy's a freak.
Recently though, we've been fortunate teams haven't put us away when they had the chance. Chelsea, Palace and the weekend immediately spring to mind. Such fine margins in each of those games. Credit to us though for coming from behind each time.

Sidibe is not particularly great. Can't defend.
On the pen I've seen it so many times from so many angles and still not 100%. Overall consensus is that it was a pen so congrats to the ref huge decision in a huge game so late. Italians are grate and even more grate when they feel wrong done by.
Apparently Ramos may face a ban for being in tunnel/pitch side. If so that's a big loss!
They'll look for any excuse to try to do us over now.
The dark powers of football are out to get us.
Use the force, Lucas!

what an idiot ..he's probably gonna miss the 1st leg of the semis, for going down to the tunnel to watch the match when things got desperate
This reaction from Juve really is embarrassing. I can understand their players losing it in the heat of the moment. But to still be crying about a correct decision is just ridiculous.
Yeh it’s really poor.
have a new footballing theory btw:
Pressing/high tempo/ high energy teams suit the latter stages of the CL because the crowd/intensity gives them an extra 10% of running.
Whereas more pragmatic teams that need to keep their heads, build up play etc struggle more due to this very nature. A lot tougher to go through disciplined phases of play when you have adrenaline (and probs PEDs) pumping all round your body/head.
