And Conte'nt, thanks for the good wishes. Was only able to steal in a couple of comments last night. The lady was giving me the Ronaldo-eyes. I'd forced a Jim Jarmusch film upon the family, so she was letting me know that staring into the laptop wasn't on...
I didn’t think Liverpool were as good as people made out at the start
Madrid were definitely settling before the Salah injury. We'd had a couple of decent spells by then, and that Ronnie chance I think came before it.
Liverpool were still in control, imo, but were starting to feel less threatening.
Worth remembering too that we're used to being ouplayed. Came from behind against PSG at the Bernabéu, and in both games vs Bayern. We know how to handle the pressure, as long as it ain't Barça we're up against.
Four CL’s in five seasons is truly incredible, pre CL has that ever been achieved by a team? I know Real won five in a row in the 50’s.
Liverpool in the 70s/80s similar level of dominance
4 of them were won in 7 years, think Real’s achievement is much more impressive.
Don’t disagree but was just answering the Q

haha.Nice one. He's one of my favourite film producer.
Plenty of experienced players in that team told in the end, patiently held their nerves for the first 15 minutes or so.
Busy summer ahead for RM. Benzema, Bale, Ronaldo probably making way for new fresh faces, Ramos, Marcello, Modric getting on a bit, probably need replacing, maybe e not this summer but in a near future. Quite a rebuilding to do. Will Zidane still be there, or will he be trusted with a rebuilding job ?
ZZ's certainly made a strong case for himself, hasn't he? It's up to him whether he wants to hang around or not.
I think our time at the top is coming to an end, at least for a while. There are simply too many born winners who'll need replacing over the next 2-3 years to realistically think it can be done without the competitive standard dropping.
Sergio Ramos is the kind of guy who’d unplug your life support machine to charge his phone.
just saw this on Twitter
He's getting characterised as the ultimate supervillain.
Should quickly pen him in as a nemesis character in the next Marvel release.
I’d have loved to see him in a United shirt, and it could’ve happened if he didn’t use our name for a new contract
Win at all cost mentality.
It will be very hard to replace such a character. They are a special breed.
There is only one Vamos Ramos

i joined the old BBC sports 606 site straight after madrid had been battered 4-0 by liverpool in the CL back in 09.
I was so piised off with how far down the pecking order in european football madrid had fallen down !
and losing to facking lpool like that was too much !
nearly a decade later we're top of the pile with an amazing 4 CL in 5 seasons
and to do it against LFC in the final..icing on the cake...2nd only to beating Farza in a CL final for me
this teams winning cycle is pretty much up though
i just hope we dont fall back like we did when the original galactico team, of bobby carlos, figo, fat ronaldo, raul and ZZ broke up
time will tell
