Never been to the Balkans. You guys travelled there much?

Kovacic will probably go to Juve. I don’t think he’s that great really. He has talent but doesn’t stand out that much whenever I’ve watched him.

modric is getting on now..if kovacic sticks arounds another season or so, i'm sure he'll begin getting selected for the starting XI

i went to Dubrovnik and the Adriatic coast years ago,,,,before Yugoslavia broke up..would have been the late 80s

would love to visit the old Yugoslavia countries tbh, lots of history there. I've got a two week break coming up before I start a new contract, might take a look at going there.

Nah never been to the balkans, desperate to go to Bosnia though. Heard it’s the best.

What are the prices like for flying out there?

incidentally i know a few serbians, and they all supported croatia against argentina

from what i've been told croatian and serbs despite the first balkan war are generally friendly towards one another and feel kinship

That’s because Croatians are Christians whereas Kosovo are Muslim. It’s always coming down to religion at the end.

It's interesting to see just how bad Tunisia are now they're up against a half decent team. It's difficult to judge a team when they're up against garbage in their opening game.

Croatia has a beautiful coastline, been there a few times. Also, Croatians and Slovens don’t get on with Serbs. Macedonians on the other hand are very friendly.
