Thought England kept it pretty tight to be honest, Broad was okay but not threatening when Shai Hope and Powell found it a bit easier straight after lunch. Then Roland-Jones and Stokes got it to talk and that was that. The few overs from Moeen were a bit pointless but I think England's lower middle order will recover the situation tomorrow. 46/4 is not that an usual score for this team and as they're only 78 behind, we're not top uncomfortable.

Ben Stokes now has more 5 wicket hauls (4-3) and more centuries (6-5) than Freddie managed in his entire career. His bowling average has come down almost 2 runs from 35.31 to 33.50 to go below his batting average which is around 35.3. Hopefully he can continue to keep bringing his bowling down and his batting up.

For what he's worth he should aim to finish career with batting average 40+ and bowling average low 30s. He needs that consistency

Imagine if 14 wickets fell in subcontinent style pitches or turners, the media here would be up in arms calling the pitch a disgrace. No such comments on this one though because it's at Lords.

Yeah, 2 tests is ridiculous as we're playing 5 ODIs against Australia. We should be playing 3 tests minimum against Pakistan if not 4.
