Lawell is hiding behind this while all the Celtic fans quickly forget that the wool was pulled over their eyes in terms of money spent in the transfer window.

Regan can call an inquiry and all it will show is the SFA being incompetent and a huge circle jerk throughout SCottish football at the thought of punishing Rangers.

I've already explained why stripping titles cannot happen so all the salivating yahoos will be in for a major dissy,

As for Lord Nimmo Smith - the tax case found nothing illegal so I don't see how it affects his ruling.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No you haven't. I have explained how it can happen and the SFA are breaking the rules to help rangers.

I did. The SFA tied themselves up in knots with the multi party agreement so that no further action could be taken against any signatory - Rangers being one of them. Nothing can or will happen. Hoisted by their own petard.

It's amusing that this is still affecting the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of Celtic fans.

The five way agreement was before nimmo smith.

Hundreds or thousands of Celtic fans?

You have proof of this

I don't actually see what this has to do with The Rangers, since they've only been going since 2012 and haven't won any major trophies which could be expunged from the record.

And what is the point of hammering a now defunct organisation, other than to make the record book look a wee bit more accurate.

Yep. Exactly. That's the point. The agreement predates this and the agreement stated no subsequent action can be taken over these matters.

Are people still getting in a lather over this.

It's likely as not that Lawell has challenged the SFA and quite rightly so.

I like the vast majority of Celtic supporters think your club and fans are being and have been "punished" enough bearing in mind what you've gone through and where you still are. Nobody I know is raging that titles aren't stripped. We're very happy with out lot but being fickle fans would have loved a new CB in the transfer window. Hey ho. Life goes on. We got a superb midfielder in the making who's already proving more than his worth, another year out of one of our best players for some time for a loan spell and an exciting prospect of this French forward who we have an option to buy. I'm very happy with that.

And some would have you believe that Lawell is doing this to pull the wool over Celtic fans eyes for not spending more money? Highlighting at the same time as to what is all wrong about a club who spent far too much money? That doesn't even remotely make any sense whatsoever.

As for "rulings have been made and they can't be changed". Does any of you actually believe that? Seriously? If you do you're in cloud cuckoo land. Rules and rulings and laws are changed every week in all manner of things ffs.

Now whether this rule about no further investigation or potential punishment regarding Rangers happens or not remains to be see but you'd be insane to think that because some learned chappie said so a few years ago, that it can't be challenged; and indeed changed.

Again, I couldn't care less.

But don't get all shocked because there are supporters of a number of teams who would happily see Rangers suffer a lot more and don't believe they were punished properly first time around. That's just naivety in its simplest form. Welcome to yours and our world.

What has happened is that Lawell has challenged the SFA to do something or be exposed as doing nothing. This from a position within UEFA. Good. We all want them changed right, so why not now and over something like this, because it sure as hell won't happen any other way.
