Their team is stacked with superstars. I'm battling to think of any teams that could match them...
==========
Team of superstar doesn't always make a good team on the pitch.
See the galacticos from 2000's until 2010
Germany and Spain from the European teams. Belgium as a dark horse.
I'm hoping Argentina qualify as they have a great chance, if you look at their paper team.
France are very good side on paper, but this is a team that lost the European final as the host nation to Portugal. Not exactly an unbeatable team, like Spain looked a few years back.
hyped up team, I mean a draw against Luxemburg? a good organised team will pick them apart as they very suspect at the back, Germany or even Italy will have a really good chance, dnt count out spain as well, guys like isco and assensio add the likes of thiago a aging but still very good iniesta and morata they more than match up attacking wise

France were in a Euro Final last year though, you'd think that was a good experience for them?

But the team has improved a lot since that final, at least on paper with the like of Mbappe, Mendy, Lemar joining an already talented squad.
France issue is more with their manager. Deschamps got his selection wrong for the final and has made some weird decisions since then.
I feel Spain are finding their mojo again.
Got the players, big question marks over the manager though.
Quite a few teams can challenge them. Germany have great strength in depth, if not the very top players.
Brazil have been very strong in qualifying, in a group that has been very challenging for other very good sides.
Spain will be in with a shout, obviously not at the levels of a decade ago but have rebuilt a bit since last summer.
I'd say Germany and then Spain will be the favourites from Europe. Brazil looking very good as well.
Having seen Spain absolutely demolish Italy the other week,I have to say that they will be the team to beat, along with Germany and Brazil.
France could still even miss out. A trip to Bulgaria (100% at home so far) could trip them up
Germany favourites.
Brazil have torn up South American qualifying and will be out for revenge. They have the successful Olympics team combined with their best older players and look good.
Spain have made suggestions they could be well and truly back.
Winner will come from those 3.
France couldn't win a Euros at home so aren't going to win a World Cup in Russia 2 years later IMO. They and Belgium and the Argies (if they make it) will make the bookies a lot of money though.
Rest will make up the numbers.

this. The just have the perfect mentality for tournaments, regardless of the talent of the individuals.
Forgot to say Portugal as dark horse.
Winning mentality, one of the best players ever, and some good young players coming through.
Who can challenge France?
------------
Luxembourg
England, with world class players like Jake Livermore we can't really go wrong.
After England, I would have to agree with Germany. They have been the best team in the past couple of years, and were better than France when they lost to them in the Euros.
Brazil have cruised in CONMEBOL qualifying, and it would be foolish to write off Argentina if they qualify and manage to get their shat together under Sampaoli.
France might have a great collection of individual talent, but the World Cup has as much to do with bottle as it does with talent.
argentina just dnt have a solid enough defence to be able to challenge next year imo, I mean a front line up that can include at any time, messi, dybala, icardi, aguero, di maria is frightening on paper but most of them I assume cant be used together because of the limitations of the defenders
Can see Russia having a good tournament
...as well as the bank balances of a few of the referees.
Russian hooligans are going to go hard at any English fans looking for a brawl.
