France withdraws ambassadors in US and Oz, huffing that the fella down under did not give billions to France for nuke subs, and formed a pact with UK.

Macron.🤗🤗🤗🤗

Irish republicanism isn't sectarian.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Many so called irish republicans are though.

The ra targetred people who were Protestant.

Know your history and do not ignore the bad bits.

Irish republican leaders throughout history come from both traditions it's non sectarian, but you know that don't you?

You are talking about a form of apartheid and segregation, keeping people you detest out of sight.

written with a straight face too.

You said stick the Orange in a park....because you cannot tolerate their sort.

What is the orange in the tricolour for, btw?

Did early irish republicans get it wrong, when they spoke of respecting the orange culture and people?

You just stereotype and call loyalists and the whole Orange tradition bad names, lol

I wonder where the crossover is in religion? They all start off preaching be nice then descend into hatred of anyone not believing the same. 🤦‍♂️

Good question.

Personally, i have a faith in God, but do not preach or judge others for not believing or being different.

Therefore, i can accept other, and do not want everyone to be Protestant, but some do, or want the world to be catholic or muslim or hindu or athiest.

Man ruins religion, imo.

Yes, Tone and a few were from the reformed tradition, but not many since, in SF or Ra, as the movement became sectarian, targetting Protestants and unionists.

While Presby united irishmen rebelled against English rule in Ulster, protestants in Wexford were being cullled by mobs encouraged by priests.

You pretend irish republicans are some romantic ecumenical liberation movement, but many just hated prods and brits.

Okay, you can't/don't want, to give your defence of the Orange Order marching in multi cultural, multi ethnic Scotland in 2021.
You think its just a normal, peaceful society that has no repercussions, is non sectarian with only love in its heart with no Buckie fueled madness by their weekly church going attendees.

Lets hope the orange order and loyalist bands and supporters have a happy peaceful day in Glasgow, as the same guys did with me and mates in east Belfast Twelfth 2 months ago.

I hope "Under the Bridge" google it, and Buchanan Street bands blood n thunder, is loud and proud.

Bands should not play by chapels, single drum beat or silence, no shouting abuse or spitting as wan guy did in 2018, and all should live and let live.

And remember, No Surrender.😎😊

The Orange Protestant Loyalist British tradition in Glasgow and Scotland is part of that city and nation, one aspect of culture in a multi-cultural enviroment.

The Orange have members and supporters from ethnic minorites and lodges in nations all over the world, including First Nation people in America and Canada.

Parades in belfast attract tourists and people from various races and religions.

Protestantism rebelled against monopoly of power, hypocrisy corruption and teaching in the RC church and stood for civil and religous liberty, and that is relevant today, imo.

In glasgow or belfast, people drink too much at orange and green and St Paddys day events, and some bigots on both sides go tonto, but that is a few.

You would not steteotype other religous or political groups for the antics of some, so open your mind.

Both sides should be banned from marching. Fooking ridiculous, they only do it to antagonize the other side.

Time to move forward into the 21st century.

Many orange folk and loyalists do have a personal faith and attend church, such as yours truly.

Loyalist bands often give young guys a focus, away from the paramilitaries or crime and drink or drug abuse.

The Orange was set up in Armagh, as a defence and unity body, against the majority irish catholic powers who did not like their lot, so both sides were at it, trying to beat or convert or drive out the other.

We all know the power and control the irish RC church had over irish society, until quite recently, as Catholics and SF and gay and womens groups say, and the RC church has history in Scotland too, of course.

There are bigots, drunks, thugs etc in orange, but that reflects society too, sadly.

Demonizing the orange, Protestant and loyalist people is hardly progressive or tolerant.

Just let them have their day out and get on with your life.

Perhaps, do not go near the parade or search for it on social media?😉

Read Ruth Dudley Edwards, Hec, as she was like you, before she actually met and knew orange and loyalist people.

I've not issue with your little club and the good deeds it's actual members may or may not do, but it's my opinion, that its walks attracts bigots, emboldens bigots to do bigoted things, that its antagonistic and divisive and perpetuates the blight of sectarianism in Scotland.
You can call me all the names you want tbab try abd paint me in a negative light, I got used to your rude ways a long time ago, but, again in my opinion, the orange walks are anachronistic and bring out the worst in people. Long since time they were knocked on the head.

Morning.

Or let them both march and have their days, culture, faith and tradition.

Should we ban Rangers v Celtic games and crowds?
Vast majority of green or orange events are not in your face antagonistic, and trouble is rare.

Not religious myself but still you know an Irish Catholic.

There are a lot of good people in religion that do a lot of good things.
It's when idiots use it as an excuse to wage war or like the Taliban subjugate women that it becomes a problem

Fair enough and morning.

If that's the case then have their days and marches in their own areas away from each other to avoid trouble.

Both sides only want to march through the other sides areas to coin a phrase GIRUY
