Need a good movie recommendation. Something easy to watch but entertaining enough. Really wish I hadn’t watched the top marvel films as much as I have…
Might do John Wick 1
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On a related note - have you watched Jane Bond yet NPE? I haven’t yet, can’t say I’m in a rush to; heard dreadful things
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Saw it.
Really liked it.
Even cried at the end.
Lashanna Lynch was actually really good too.

I’ll be sure to skip it then 😂

Probably a load better than Jane Bond.
I tend to be sceptical of these relatively low numbers for resolving global issues, if it was 6 billion it would have been done already.

I remember him talking about China and how easily you could power all of it with solar.
But I cannot see 6 billies scratching the surface, no.

Most of that money probably gets dispersed into other things and into operating costs.
The reason why I find this so interesting is that if they can show how world hunger could be solved with a concentrated donation, Elon Musk is exactly the type of guy to take it on himself to feed his own ego. The UN should he looking at this as a major opportunity.

They already cause less deaths per 100k miles than human driven vehicles.
That was the case a good two years ago.. and without streets and junctions meant for them, as well as a lack of other vehicles to communicate with.

Yeah I think they’re a lot closer than we all would have thought a few years back. The ease on traffic will be really impressive too.
I can't wait for the day calling a driverless car to take you to work is cheaper than driving yourself. Excellent opportunity to get extra sleep in the mornings.
The Musk 6 billion thing was actually bad reporting to something taken out of context.
I can't remember the number exactly but the UN guy was actually referring to how 6 billion would help something like 42 million who are in immediate danger of dying due to starvation, which CNN (?) took as him saying 6 billion would solve world hunger.

Aaaah sounds about right lol
"Musk was responding to comments by David Beasley, the director of the UN's World Food Programme, who told CNN's "Connect the World" last week that a $6 billion donation from billionaires such as Musk and Jeff Bezos could help 42 million people who he said were "literally going to die if we don't reach them."
