Over the years, Peks has regularly posted his admiration for Putin and other strong leaders. I very obviously disagree with his view and many of his opinions.

I wanted to Peks a genuine question as to why he finds the west disgraceful, and what other world systems he finds superior.

I think Ukraine will get arms from the West, combined with Ukrainian PM arming the population it could be a very messy conflict for the Russians. It's just madness beyond belief what Putin has done.

I agree, a countrywide militia is going to cost Russia dearly, especially with no appetite at home.. and it will be interesting to see how they progress with so much of the military abroad..

Uprisings don’t always work, Iraqis were promised all the help and support by the West if they rose against Saddam in 91’ and look what happened to them. Over a million slaughtered after being lied to and betrayed.

And he's had an ethnic slur, incel, paella face on another thread, things to do with Franco etc, etc. Not to get precious about slurs, but seems a bit one sided if stating arguing like a woman is the breaking point.

Tbf labelling someone as an incel for a weird misogynistic comment, is not quite like being misogynistic.

It's a false equivalence - it would be like calling someone is racist for a racist comment, is the same as being racist.

Similarly I wouldn’t condone making an ethnic slur towards that or any poster or any person. Worth noting that the poster in question does engage in slurs towards the Roma community.

I was told today fwiw from someone close in government that there is a huge element of armed forces senior staff against all of this and significant disruption within the ranks.
