i'm getting v good info from Russians and other Eastern Euros I know from another forum, some of whom are close to the fighting areas, and some of whom have relatives in the army about what is going on right now

GB News allowing Martin Daubney to blame NATO for an "inevitable" war in Ukraine (this was before the invasion started)

https://twitter.com/GBNEWS/status/1497664641966780416?t=ScTKPo_Zr5TSUlj5kmXbrg&s=19

Absolute unhinged conspiracy nonsense from Neil Oliver, hitting all the tropes 'great reset' 'mainstream media' (wtf is GB News if not MSM ffs) and of course 'world economic forum' (IE the NWO)

https://twitter.com/Scarborough_GB/status/1496721285241581570?t=3cos7t-XlXNjGzNuVyihTQ&s=19

GB News presenter Patrick Christys blaming the liberal west for the crimes of authoritarian Russia

Despite "offering a wide range of views" as tbab might like to think they do they railroad the viewer I to one conclusion or at least only portray one version of viewer feedback... In this case just pro Kremlin propaganda

https://news.sky.com/story/donor-to-brexit-backing-think-tank-in-talks-to-buy-gb-news-stake-12172737

Who funds GB News? Who are Legatum Capital and what links does Christopher Chandler have to the Russian state?

https://www.ft.com/content/143bb08e-4d5d-11e8-97e4-13afc22d86d4

Kind of puts the prorussian opinions on GB News into a different perspective than just "offering all opinions" doesn't it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Putin bots and KGB backed Kremiln puppets, Eamon Holmes, Anne Diamond and Stephen Nixon, whose partner is UK armed forces 👍🤣

Of course opinions on there will be out there at times, because they allow all opinions... and adults can make up their own minds by reading and viewing other sources too.

They do provide other opinion and allows wleft, right and centre to express views, when other news channels are fairly dull and middle of the road.

Not perfect by any means, but an interesting alternative.

Handing out 18k AK47 rifles to anyone in Kyiv is problematic too, as are politicians in Ukraine teaching folk how to make Molotov cocktails to fire at tanks?

Needs must, but dangerous at the same time for civilians untrained.

Britain done a very good job of delivering anti tank munitions the week before it kicked off. Turkey look to have done well with the drones. Delivering munitions into Western Ukraine shouldn't be a problem. Remember the West are within their rights to travel into Ukraine.

I asked this question:
"wow impressive power. Btw be honest how supportive are the people of this in Russia all around you?
The western media claims Putin is getting desperate and people in Russia are pissssed off with him. Also are you still able to use your cards, bank?"

this was his reply (Russian guy, with military background)
"Yes, and we won't have problems with using them. SWIFT is mirrored by interior transaction system, But they know it, they're not gonna block us totally, just few banks, they can't buy oil and gas without SWIFT. But then those cannibals will say that "we did everything possible". Most of Russian reserves were transferred from European and American banks in last two years aswell, so EU can arrest only tiny part."

And buildings.

If Putin is seen to be bogged down or held up, he may use such evil force as he has done in Syria and Russia before....according to military men.

That could also kick it off more, but Putin might only listen when boots are on the ground from NATO and the west.

Germany is now sending helmets and weaponry to Ukraine, overturning legislation forbidding Germany from doing so, relating to WW2....this however is being used by RT and Putin to again highlight the "natzi" wounds inflicted, and push the denatzification propaganda.

this forum is full of eastern euros
their views completely different to ppl in the west
so many ethnic tensions, dislikes, friendships between the various people, it's amazing

some are pro-putin (in this matter anyway), others not

some really good info about what's really happenings there on the ground....as some of these people have relatives in the area, or like that bloke, ex military (Russian in his case)

The most disingenuous take I’ve seen on Twitter was from the douchebag we all know as Maajid Nawaz who tried to argue that US citizens should be able to have AR-15s just because the Ukrainian government are handing out AK-47’s to their citizens. Sigh.

Ukraine with a Jewish president. The vast majority of Russians know what's going on. I'm literally in a discord with a Russian soldier who says F Putin and drinks macallan whisky. The misinformation bots and paid trolls are fighting a losing battle.

Many have gone through conscription, military training, but literally anyone was given an AK-47 and it was approx 18k rifles...if it goes street to street in Kyiv, Russia will be in for a law war, imo

I also cannot see how Putin expects his relatively small number of forces to hold vast Ukraine, with nearly 40 million hostile locals??

It makes no logical sense and empowers Ukraine to move further away from Moscow.

so far the numbers of Russian soldiers being used in such a big country as Ukraine is far too low

But the Russians have no intention of occupying the whole of Ukraine...was never their objective
