I see there this huge convoy of Russian vehicles headed towards Kyiv. Does that not make them at a disadvantage? Could the Ukrainians not just bomb the roads and stop the convoy moving forward?

Just saw that video of a Ukrainian stealing a tank with his tractor 😂

Russia used the thermobaric vacuum bomb today, Ukrainian ambassador informed the US today.Heavy shelling in Ukraine second and third cities and civilian casualties mounting.

Pentagon report 75 per cent of Russian forces massed on Ukraine borders are now inside the country.

Appears to be a big push and retired General Kemmit believes war crimes will be commited bt Putin, ordering troops into Kyiv and other cities, leading to street fights, civilian deaths and use of heavier weaponry.

Not sure about the validity of these Ukrainain inspired peace talks, (originating between mutual Jewish contacts) or the influence-power Abramovich has to help negotiate peace between the two sides, but now would be a great time to see results, as Putin sends in the numbers and bigger weapons.

Darker days ahead?

Whatever Putin was intending to do in Ukraine, I think it's safe to say it's had the complete opposite effect. Pushed that country closer to it's western allies and further away from his imperialist fantasy.

Between the dead soldiers texts, the financial depression, increasing protestors being arrested, anonymous broadcasting of the truth in Ukraine and now a war crime investigation being announced I wonder how much support is waning for Putin at home.

Given I've first hand experience of Russian soldiers saying "F Putin" I think most under 40s in Russia know what's going on with Putin.

From a personal perspective. The pro Russian bots are incredibly irritating. Thankfully the average western net user is getting much more wise to the BS.

Going forward, I will no longer post anything that could remotely be read or interpreted as providing political cover or credence to those pushing Putin forward as anything other than a rich man's Hitler.

I fear this could go on for some time in one form of war or another, and Putin is one evil entity who should not read anything other than opposition to him from the free world and social media...especially as Putin bots and cyber warfare become more active in weeks ahead.

Burns, who is now CIA director, admitted in a classified 2008 embassy cable that NATO expansion to Ukraine crosses Moscow’s security “redlines” and “could potentially split the country in two, leading to violence or even, some claim, civil war, which would force Russia to decide whether to intervene.”

Senior US government officials knew as far back as 2008 that the possibility of adding Ukraine to NATO was seen as a serious “military threat” by Russia, one that crosses Moscow’s security “redlines” and could force it to intervene.

Yet Western leaders continued insisting that Ukraine would join the US-led military alliance, right up until Russia did indeed intervene in February 2022.

At the annual NATO summit back in 2008, the George W. Bush administration publicly called for adding Russia’s neighbours Ukraine and Georgia to the military alliance. NATO’s secretary-general declared that the two countries would eventually become members.

But privately, US diplomats knew that this move would be seen as an existential threat by Moscow, and could provoke Russian military intervention in Ukraine.
