I'd like to apologise to Israel for prematurely blaming them. In hindsight why everyone including all mainstream media took the word of the terrorist government of Gaza as gospel is a surprise, even I got hooked in too. I still have questions about how a PIJ missile can kill so many people, but seeing the footage and the testimony of journalists who have access to the PIJ conversation is convincing, and it's more likely than not that Hamas lied about how many are dead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The footage they have presented hasn't been verified yet. You are basically choosing to believe propaganda at the moment. Like when Russia produces 'evidence' that Ukraine attacked themselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone, including me bizarrely, chose to believe Hamas on word of mouth at first.
======
Why? What exactly did Hamas say that you believed?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Their breaking report that the destruction and mass death at the hospital was a result of an Israel air strike. I believed it indirectly because all media including the BBC reported it like this as well, but the source was still Hamas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you have a link? I find that hard to believe because we don't need Hamas to break the news that Israeli bombs have flattened yet another hospital in Gaza. They do it all the time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh just search BBC news coverage of yesterday. It was along the lines of "Israel airstrike kills 500, say Hamas."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's my point. Don't the BBC have their own people to tell them the hospital has been bombed? They got it from Hamas? Does that make sense to you? They could have just said "500 killed in hospital explosion".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes they did get it from Hamas which is why they said according to Hamas.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then they're a joke and it's still all ridiculous that they need Hamas to tell them about the hospital.

Also the media didn't run with what Hamas said. They only reported what Hamas said and made it clear they were reporting what Hamas said.

A lot of words mate... Are you saying the Hamas attack was a false flag or just playing devil's advocate?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Israel are saying the hospital was false flag then yes, I am suggesting therefore that the Hamas attack could also have been a false flag.

Are you saying that only Hamas are capable of a false flag attack?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You claim the U.K. and the west have a strong propaganda machine going yet seem to believe everything that’s fed to you from your Islamic brothers 😂

One thing I'm amazed by in this whole conversation regarding the hospital bombing is that every single video get comments about how it's obviously doctored.

How do people see this stuff? I feel very suddenly like I'm old and out of touch with technology.

There's videos of a plane (in the distance) that people claim are two videos (seamlessly) edited together.

There's ones with the scream of a missile then an explosion, again with similar claims (based on the appearance of a tag at one point of the video, seems a reach 🤷🏼‍♂️)

There's "surveillance" footage from Israel of scores of missiles being launched miles and miles from the hospital, away from the direction of the hospital, directly at Israel, which we can see flying in a uniform fashion, but then allegedly one we DONT see pulls a 100 degree turn, and lands on a hospital.

Then there's another video allegedly showing a missile "break up" (there's an explosion) which is allegedly at the same time as the surveillance footage (but you don't see it launch in that one)

Now I'm fully aware of Hamas ability to lie, but I would imagine flooding twitter with doctored images very quickly would be beyond them in normal times, let alone whilst there's no electric to Gaza...

The only idea so far other than an israeli missile that makes sense is the idea the Iron Dome defence intercepted a missile, but that's also unlikely because it doesn't intercept missiles on the ascent. And if it intercepted them that far out we wouldn't have this one isolated incident after so many years.

On the link crouchy? Posted if you go in to the actual threads they are posting cherry picked rebuttals from (rather than the posters whole threads) one common theme seems to be that a heat seeking missile intended for the rocket launch site may have targeted the hospital's generator accidentally, or failing that, the only logical conclusion is that it was on the list of targets.

The most telling bit of evidence for me is this now deleted tweet

https://images.app.goo.gl/KJPNu7KqwEJ9Rv7AA

But I'm sure someone somewhere will be saying this was doctored too 🤷🏼‍♂️

Aren't these missiles visible in the night sky?

If it came from Israeli, wouldn't there be a video of it?

There was a video of the strike taken by someone on a balcony with their phone.

It should be quite easy to determine which direction it came from

No titty,

I think it's pretty telling that a propogandist would initially claim it was the IDF deliberately destroying a Hamas hiding spot, before deleting the tweet and claiming it was a misfire.

Also I've had a look through your thread and there's loads of rebuttals on there too, they even rebut the official Israeli line themselves at times.

The surveillance footage of the missiles being launched shows them far away from the hospital, and firing in a different direction, you can see the launches and the trails the rockets create, none veer off in that direction.

And the Hamas bombs don't cause that sort of damage.

No one is going to accept this incident, and the Israelis are going to do everything they can to disassociate themselves from the blame for a pretty blatant warcrime.

And it's disgusting that the whole conflict has narrowed in on this one incident now as a proxy, there's been 9 days of warcrimes being perpetrated against the Palestinians, Israel went too far, immediately in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, which was an inevitability of their actions.

Advent of AI, bipartisanship of "observers" and of course twitter now being full of bots with blue ticks makes it impossible

Some banal truths are that Israel's strategy for "defending" itself makes it all too easy to believe they did bomb a hospital with people in it and on the other side Hamas show little concern for the lives of Palestinian people

The deleted tweet is from an influencer, a govt shill, I doubt he had knowledge of the attack he was just being a horrible can

Also disgusting to see the likes of Lee Harpin expressing nothing but sympathy and shock for the dead when the news first broke now going into full attack mode

Misinformation and people with an agenda make twitter and the like a painful place

I dont even trust the audio that Israel have put out, Doctoring videos is far harder, and even that can be done seamlessly and in minutes now,

Hell still images can be done via AI very quickly, and AI detectors arent worth the time it takes to use them, their accuracy is minute.

Its amazing how quickly this bombing has become an umbrella to protect israel from all the other atrocities, and its an incident we wont EVER be able to confirm or deny, in part because humanitarian aid isnt being allowed in, let alone impartial observers.

Come on IRU the diplomatic effect this has had is massive, it could have invited Iran to the war. If all this was based on a lie to cover a screw-up then it deserves huge condemnation and an even bigger drive to get rid of Hamas and that other terrorist group PIJ.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I dont see why you are operating under the assumption that this was definitely a Hamas missile "Gone wrong"

and if it was a missile "Gone wrong" then its nothing more than a tragedy.

Personally all i see is your confirmation bias, accepting Israeli state propoganda, i see nothing concrete, and unless they let UN investigators in to look at these issues, and ease the plight of the palestinians then theres no reason to let Israel off the hook for 10 days of eradicating civilians.

Theres plenty of other concrete war crimes they have committed the last 11 days, there will be more, People are dieing of thirst, they have turned back on just 4% of the water supply.

Regardless of this hospital bombing, israel have shown themselves up as expansionist racist skum, and are no better than Hamas.

Timings and responsibility

Hagari said at 18:59 local time (16:59 BST) yesterday a "barrage of around 10 rockets" was fired by the militant group Palestinian Islamic Jihad - around the same time there were reports of an explosion at the hospital
He said the IDF's aerial footage analysis showed "with absolute certainty" that the blast was caused by a "misfired" Islamic Jihad rocket, which was fired from a cemetery near the hospital

Damage analysi

Hagari said the "only location damaged" was a car park outside the hospital "where we can see signs of burning" - and argued Israeli strikes would've caused a more significant aftermath like "craters and structural damage"
He also said there was evidence of the rocket launch failing because a propellent is still evident
Time taken

Hagari said it would be "impossible to know what happened as quickly as Hamas claimed they knew"
When asked by a reporter why anyone should believe the IDF's version of events, he admitted Israel had been "fast to go to conclusions" in the past, but he says they had taken hours to "double check" they had their facts right
He said their intelligence included:

Confirming there was no IDF fire - "by land, sea or air" - that inadvertently hit the hospital
Using radar systems to track the rockets fired, "from within Gaza", with a trajectory showing they were fired from a cemetery nearby
Getting hold of communication between militants talking about the rocket misfiring

—————-

So the rocket was a Hamas rocket. Not surprised and thought this would be the case last night when more info would arise, as was no logic whatsoever as to why Israel would fire a rocket at a hospital and violate international law, lose all their support and get worldwide condemnation

A guy on another Wolves forum, who speaks Arabic, has said that it's unclear who the people are and who the 'they' is that they are talking about. The only think clear in the audio is that the dialect is consistent with that of people in Gaza, but it's very much them saying 'they are saying' rather than confirming anything. We don't know who 'they' are.

They violated international law by turning off the water, by indiscriminately bombing civilian structures, By forcibly evicting palestinians from their land, by bombing refugees, by targetting medical staff, by targetting journalists..

I could go on.

But yeah, no way Israel would break international law and target a hospital
