Raising a question: when was the last time net migration was zero?
Answer: 1993, as large numbers of people left the UK in the face of a toxic cocktail of deep recession and double digit interest rates.
So that's one way of doing it...

Nice graph there. Negative migration until 1983. We helped pass all the international migration and asylum laws to make the world more accessible to us and now those laws have come back to bite us in the ass.

Yeah, because it isn't.

It is holiday. Teachers like to pretend it isn't as they might have to work one day every once in a while, but it's mostly free.

Yeah my ex was a teacher and she'd maybe work a day or two after the 6 weeks holidays began to tie up some loose ends, and would then start lesson planning a week or so before school started up again, but the other 4/5 weeks were all holiday.

The main gripes I could see for teachers were she'd regularly have to work late in the week doing marking etc. which is basically unpaid overtime in my opinion.

It’s 100% the after work (and before work quite often tbh) that makes it a simply low paid role for the responsibility.

They’re advertising for a Head Teacher at the school my mates daughter went to - £98-106k a year

Doesn’t sound that shabby, I do realise that’s what you when you’re quite high up the totem pole

That school probably also has a CEO, 100k is low for a Head of they manage the budget for the school

Not a fan of these types of protests. It will encourage some nutjob with a bottle of acid to “be a hero”

Far rather he loses his 8th election
