Onto the US, whether you like Trump or not, imagine the outrage if Trump had attended a rally mouthing off about how he’s a brilliant shooter of a gun, and can outshoot anyone
wtf was Tim Waltz thinking? Literally got democrats on twitter misinterpreting it as well saying they’ve received the cryptic message from Tim loud and clear that next time make sure a shooter fires more bullets at trump so they don’t miss. Biden and the bullseye comment was bad enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tim Walz is in favour of gun control.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So what, that means he can talk about outshooting people and what a good shot of guns he is, a few weeks after his opposition gets shot at. If shoe was on the other foot and that was Trump people would be absolutely lynching him for those comments (and rightly so), Walz comments could easily be considered as inciting another assassination attempt
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just shut the fvk up you fvkin idiot.

This is a statement by Superintendent Emlyn Richards when questioned about 2 tier policing.
officers met with business owners and community leaders ahead of the protest in Bordesley Green to 'see what support and policing style they wanted' on the night. Officers knew, he said, that they could "go on to make arrests" after the protest, instead wanting to ensure "everybody could go home without being injured.
Why wasn’t this offered to other communities and why wouldn’t the police make arrests at the protests like they did at other protets? They did the same in Leeds.
This is a classic example of 2 tier policing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds like you want one size fits all policing.

Nuance and treating individual situations differently because of different variables isn't Claptard's strongest subject.

I wonder why the police went into Southport and not Leeds? The police moderate their language and actions when dealing with protests involving minorities as they're terrified of being branded racists, they don't give a feck when they're white.
Why is it when white people protest and riot they're far right and yet if Muslims and minorities do it extremism is never brought up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Police did attend the Leeds riots and were one part of the reason it started but were outnumbered and retreated. They didn't have the resources to handle something that started suddenly.
The reason there was a heavier police presence in Southport is that there had been a huge incidence the day before, misinformation had led to threats, there was a vigil and likely worries from a big crowd descending on an area, copy cat attacks or those looking for revenge and the EDL lot had turned up who have a reputation for rioting.
It really isn't that complicated unless you are trying to search for some conspiracy to help with your own prejudices.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The police arrived on the scene at Leeds and realised the aggression and disturbance was entirely directed at them and the authorities so removed themselves from the situation with the aim to decrease tension and aggression
As far I I recall, armed police arrived at both incidents and rightly made the decision not to shoot into a crowd or to draw their weapons and create a standoff
