Reminder that this year Key West recorded all-time record temperatures (115F), parts of Florida were engulfed in smoke due to wildfires *in Mexico*, and Ron DeSantis signed legislation that removes the words climate change from all state laws relating to energy policy, bans near-shore wind farm development and cancels state-wide carbon reduction targets.

This, of course, *after* Florida experienced the costliest hurricane in state history in Hurricane Ian in 2022.

Unsurprising, I guess, given that DeSantis describes himself as “not a global warming person”.

That’s government corruption in the form of lobbying for you.

It’s not an outright ban on panels but it’s a ban on powering your own home via solar, they have to be plugged into the grid. Ironically a rather communist set up
