The Tories doubling down on their extreme bullshiiiiiiit.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-14012923/ROBERT-JENRICK-Britains-former-colonies-debt-inheritance.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Is this where people scoff because you've read a newspaper spin and repeated it on here?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well no because Jenrick wrote the article
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you think he has a point? Not sure what he's meant to be doubling down on to be honest.

He's giving a (admittedly somewhat colourful) view on the question of the UK paying out billions in reparations.

The US election is on my birthday next week and their present to me is gonna be a Neo Naaazi, genocide enabling fascist or a genocidal enabling bint. Lucky me

Fixed. The choice is painful but obvious.

The IDF said that its military goals in Lebanon have been achieved and that the Israeli government can now promote a diplomatic resolution to end the conflict in the North.

What a load of pussssies these lot are, they’ve been losing hundreds of their soldiers since they tried the ground invasion and can’t sustain anymore losses so they scurry back to their holes and pull out this ridiculous statement.

It's not in the name of democracy, it's obliterating children in the name of self defence.

BREAKING: Trump only winning by 5

In KANSAS.

A red state he carried by 20 points in 2016 and 15 points in 2020.

If Trump’s margin is only 5 in Kansas — he is LOSING in Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, and Arizona.

And Florida. And Texas.

I highly doubt that. Their losses have been minimal in this entire conflict and they could keep this going for as long as the rest of the world sits back and watches.

They’ve significant armed forces and most of their citizens are or have been conscripted and are being called up as and when required. And when it comes to indiscriminate bombing and shooting, it doesn’t take too many skills to accomplish that.

They could easily keep going as long as they have munitions.

These figures are from the Israeli healthy ministry, those aren’t minimal figures at all.

In one month they’ve suffered over 2600 injuries/losses since they started their ground invasion. That’s pretty embarrassing for the so called ‘one of the most powerful armies’ in the world

Finkelstein made his comments last week about how the IDF are very good at "video games" , meaning planes and drones, but that ultimately if they want their "buffer zone" they'll have to go in on foot they'll be up against proper fighters. Those figures back him up

Their strength is in the air, on the ground they’re absolute donkeys. The amount of clips Al Jazeera streams of Israeli tanks just randomly moving in Gaza and being blown up by rocket launchers so easily. And their soldiers not even hiding and being prone to an easy attack.

IDF bulldozer, decorated with trophies of toys which belonged to the children who lived in the homes it destroys. Truly demonic.

Those figures include all the civilians and children, and are not solely military.

For a country that is perpetually on the edge and are ready for war at a moment's notice, I'd suggest those losses would be deemed "acceptable"; to them at least.

I don’t think civilians are included apparently it’s just soldiers, why would civilians be involved in armed combat?

Hebrew media - 4 soldiers killed in Jabalia in Jabalia:

the forces entered a house to comb it, and when they went up to the second floor of the house, it was completely booby-trapped and exploded on the forces, killing 4 soldiers immediately and wounding others

Could well be right, but the point stands that I still don't believe they will view these levels of casualties as being unacceptable
