Fair, I still think the biggest issue is that not enough Muslims or the main clerics (think their equivalent to the Pope is in Saudi?) speak out on this crap, like we know the majority of Islam followers would never dream of doing something like this and that it is these morons warped incorrect interpretation of Islam and not the real Islam BUT enough doesn’t get said by the main Islam popes and others etc to denounce it and say this is not ok and not the true meaning. Rarely see it, and might unbrainwash some of the morons. Just carry the slogan “Causing Violence and Harm to others is not true Islam”

I don’t think those from the Muslim community that do speak out and protest against such acts get enough coverage tbh. It’s not provocative & divisive enough to get air time these days.

I think it’s less about misinterpretation and more about believing every word, whereas most normal people are sensible enough to skip over the evil stuff from religious books (from any religion).

Yet we’re still in lockdown 49 weeks after it was meant to end even without a vaccine

Shame we can’t put Boris, Gove, Hancock and Priti in a car, hack the GPS and drive it off a cliff

Boris’s fully vaccinated people still can’t meet indoors comment today rattled a lot of people, even a lot of the bedwetters. Do sense more people are starting to see through this BS now that we’re long past this being about the virus now, just a) will enough MP’s actually follow suit and be true to their word and wake up and oust the mug or make him change tact and b) will enough people rise up

Exactly, Schools having been open for 2/3 weeks now and cases are still falling big time even with even more tests (over 1m more than prior to schools open) has already basically shown this wave is over, yet we’re still in lockdown until June. Should be reopen now while we can as it’ll likely come back again in October, be nice to have got 6 months instead of 4

Whitty’s comments the last two days have been very interesting

Yesterday saying openly we need to learn to live with it and treat it like the flu and it will be manageable and we need to accept deaths

And today saying blood clots do happen but are rare but when you get down the age groups it could well be more safer to not vaccinate younger age groups as the risk parity of them getting badly ill or dying from COVID is equal to having an adverse serious reaction or blood clot from the vaccine

Whitty’s comments indicate what I’ve always thought that after this year when we’ve used our spare vaccines up and hysteria has died down only the priority groups 25-30m people will get the Covid jab every year like with flu unless someone wants to get it privately

But then you have the government saying or indicating the complete opposite with the vaccine passports. So who knows

It’s constant one side says one thing the other says the opposite

True, plus most people I know that have been vaccinated really do not give a crap anymore already. They’ve got the mental assurance their risk is now very very low of dying so why are they going to waste their live not enjoying it especially when they’re now at more risk of dying from something else

We’ve had one day in the last 2 and a half weeks where we exceeded 100 daily deaths

Average of cases is 3k-4k and mostly schoolchildren

And we’ve got 93.5% of over 50’s vaccinated

Yet we’ve still got to wait 6 weeks to be able to go to a restaurant indoors.

Even with this vaccine passport, you’ve basically got to ensure you’ve got full battery everytime you go out or take papers with you, Christ everytime I’ve been to a club I’ve lost something people are going to lose them all the time or run out of battery or lose their phone, or what happens in the countryside or underground places where you don’t even get signal how the fack can you access the app or someone inspecting your papers in the pitch black at night?

we r one of the strictest states n basically no capacity limits now. still must ware masks if cannot stay distanced indoors but not when eating.
only bars still restricted but here most bars sell food so get by that
