I am a miserable old git, quite correct and no offence taken.
When you get to my age you have learned to suppress excitement and take things as they come, otherwise pant wetting may become a very real problem
In my defence, if you cast your minds back to the summer transfer window, we were linked with every available player and his dog and now that we have popped up on the radar of every sports media newshound I shudder to think how many players we will be linked with between now and January.
