What Jose says is correct. City have spent more than £100 million than us on players since a Pep joined to add to the likes of Silva, Aguero, KDB, Fernandinho and Sterling.

They may also add to that another £70 million on VVD.

If we want to catch a City we need to back Jose some more. Any manager would need insane backing to catch a team who’ve dropped two points all season

Depends what you mean by Liverpool. Would I want to see them defend even worse than us or fail to beat Everton or West Brom at home (all happened over the past fortnight)

No one bar City is perfect and no one can really crow over the other.

Fact remains that the squad Jose has is nowhere near as good as City’s. No manager, even SAF could make this squad win 17 games in a row

Poor you. Let’s say for one second I believe you actually go to games. Just because a few times this season the football hasn’t been great doesn’t mean you can start demanding we sack the manager. Plenty of times this season the football has been very good.

You’re part of the new generation that demands to be entertained every week. That was something that never happened under SAF - there were plenty of average performances through even his best seasons.

My bad. £380 million/£400 million. Still a huge amount.

Add VVD to that and it’s £450 million.

Someone said the other day we are now in a position wherein we have to continue with Mourinho, as any manager who wants to play expansive, sexy football is going to get rid of Lukaku. This club is rotten from top to bottom. I also heard today Juan Mata contract ends this summer and we have not approached him, we are wasting our efforts begging a player like Fellaini to stay at this great club. It brings a tear to my eye, ha.

Who cares what's been spent?

They've both had sizeable budgets to forge their own teams and Pep has obviously done so better.

Swap squads and Pep side would still player more attractive football.

they value mkhi at like 38m when they paid 26.5m according to SP and Lukaku at 75m when sources say everton held out for 90m and koeman even said 90+ etc.

it says city spent Expenditures: £224.37m in 17/18 and Expenditures: £191.70m the year beofre so idk where they/you got 380m from.
