Pogba would get in the city side ahead of who exactly?
Pep was dealt a bum hand with Mendy getting injured. Playing Delph instead..
Mourinho was dealt a bum hand with Ibrahimovic getting injured, didn't know if he'd recover, and splashed out £80m on Lukaku!
Mourinho might well be a good manager but Pep is by far the better coach - as you'd expect given their playing careers.

He's damaged goods and we know what happens in the third season.

City have spent an atrocious amount, but they have spent it well.
We have also spent an atrocious amount, but we have bought poorly or have a manager failing to organise his team and improve them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My view pretty much. We finished level on points with the City side and Pep and Jose came to both teams around the same time.
Peps first time in England and Joses third spell.
City have evolved into a completely different side and each player knows his job and does it and players have improved.
Can anyone identify a single player Jose has improved? As a matter of fact, quite a few have regressed.

Yeah. Problem is, most of the criticism aimed at Mourinho and Utd is somewhat true and I get Utd fans wanted to defend him because we did the same. Just gna have to take it on the chin for now
I liken the situation with Mourinho to an elastic band that is being stretched so far out of its natural position. Once you let go (Mourinho leaving) , the band will returns to its position again (Players released from their shackles.
The next manager will benefit from this because his job will made easier by the fact that he's not Mourinho.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You guys welcomed him back for a 2nd time
I don't think utd fans were under any illusions about what they were getting with Jose and that he would most likely be here in the short term
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't his 2nd time prove my point about what he does and what happened after he left?
Your second point I will have to respectfully disagree.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For some there might have been a brief flirtation with the notion that Jose was here to build some football legacy a la fergie. It became quite apparent early into his contract that Jose hadnt really changed and the utd job was just another notch on his belt. The question was/is will he leave amidst the turmoil he left your club or will he just see out his contract. His public criticism of the club's spending would indicate his time may be up at the end of this contract or earlier if he repeats his Chelsea meltdown.

Valencia, Fellaini, Young, Lingard, Jones and Rojo have all improved whilst Jose has been at the club IMO.
That doesn't mean Jose has improved them though. Just like those who have 'regressed' cannot have that lack of form solely attributed to their manager.
It's a very simplistic and myopic view fans have of player development in suggesting that the only factor influencing a player's development or lack of form is the manager in charge of the playing side.
It clearly isn't a fair or objective measure.

Jose also said Arsenal and Chelsea aren't big clubs because its not our responsibility to win the league.
Tbf he has a point. Arsenal should be making winning the league a responsibility. Failure to even challenge for this should result in Wenger's sacking.

That' the dumbest I'll ever read.....and I read a lot of dumb things here.

Course it is, if you're only looking at it in the context of what Arsenal are currently doing.
and that's the point. What arsenal and, in particular, the owners, are currently doing shouldn't be accepted as "good enough".

AW has had more than enough time to develop players to negate the need to make even more big signings!
He wasn't complaining when he took Campbell from Spurs on a massive contract was he.
