I just report the stories I'm given.

But as my wager was that GR would manage Derby during the 16/17 season i did collect on the wager.

It seems blindingly obvious to me. Wait until it happens. believe nothing until it has - unless - you are a gambling man.

Vidal, never mind "do we go up"? I want to know if we finish as champions, runners-up or promoted via the play-offs (and if so who scores the winning goal at Wembly)?

So Peeder, over to you.

It seems blindingly obvious to Mapdini: wait til it hapoens then report an unrecognizable account of it making Keogh the hero, and wait for the PitY votes to roll in on the PotY election.

666 - Keogh is better at football than you.

Ramdini - got more Poty votes than you.

Time to build a bridge and get over it.

...and why did he get more PoTY votes...? Because you idiots applied the Keogh Theory to the competition, mistaking quantity for quality, effort for attainment, and sweat for skill. There's not one of you plebs fit to share my internet.

You are right 666. we are not fit to share your internet. I think we should recognise and simply get on without it.

Has there ever in the history of the world been enough steel produced to build a bridge that could stand so much weight?

Many years ago (1989 to be precise) I had a dream that an ice cream sales man was going to win the Open Golf.

I don't know why and don't generally believe in dreams at all. However, this one was very distinct, so it stuck in my head.

Now, there used to be an ice cream palour in Chippenham called Calcavecchias. I went there quite a lot, but I'd never hard of Mark Calcavecchia until the 1989 Open preview show was on Grandstand.

As soon as I heard his name knew I had to do something.

So, £50 at 150/1 to win bought me a car.

Sadly, that's the last dream I had that got me anywhere.

Should have been shouldn't it but no, I got a green Citroen AX GT. And rolled it down a hill the following year after some drunken ar5e forced me off the road.

DET reporting that Rowett has been offered a new contract. Not that it has been agreed though. You would hope that Mel and Rowett would have agreed the detail and then emerged smiling for the cameras. Bilic said not to want to take the Stoke job until the end of the season which may rule him out. Mystic Peeder needs to go to sleep for a bit and wake up with all of the answers.

Grouse - I have been trying to get away from talking about Stoke and then you throw that in!

The DET "understands" is just paper talk for "speculates".

I have no idea if Rowett has been offered a contract but it's easy to speculate that Mel may try to head off a Stoke bid by doing so.

Whether this has in fact happened will remain to be seen.

I just want whatever it is to get sorted sharpish.

If Rowett goes he goes. We have a good squad and a half decent manager will see us over the line.

The soft underbelly has been addressed with three top DM's and if he goes I think the team have enough experience and spirit to say Foxtrot Oscar Rowett, we'll do it without you.

Rameses, are you sure a "half-decent" manger will do the trick?

Remember when Clough came here from Burton (almost nine years to the day believe it or not)? They had a 13 point lead and Roy McFarland tried his best to squander that, and nearly succeeded.

Please stay on topic: the discussion is around half-decent managers, nothing to do with Nigel Clough.

I thought it was about you getting less votes than Ramdini.

Yes I do Scouse,

I don't think we have a mentally fragile squad.

Mel gets Martin O'Neill in til the end of the season just to wind Forest up and we'll be golden.
