I still don't think Rowett will leave for Stoke.
I think you've started something by not claiming the 200 Scouse.
I think we should leave the claiming of the 100s to the comment merchants from now on.
It's proper hard on stuff for them

Thank god for that. All we need now is for east midlands giants Forest' job to become vacant and I don't think he'd be able to resist.
Oh wait...
How the mighty have fallen. We were concerned that Rowett may go to Stoke but there was never any thought of him going to Nottingham.
Julio Geordio has got the Forest job (confirmed yesterday).

GR will not let us down and go anywhere. Derby is where he belongs and he is well into the spirit of things. He just needs to get the job done and does not have to rush into the first PL job that comes calling. If we don't go up (I think we will) there are plenty of jobs he could walk into. Getting out of the Championship is very hard. There will be no shame in not doing. (I think he will not fail)
New contract signed.
.. and breathe
Must have been a nice change for Uncle Mel to shell out to keep a manager who's doing well...
Seriously can't believe people were worried about this.
At least we'll be compensated fully now.
Yep. Transfer kitty for Stevie Mac III.

Neither can I - he was never going to leave anyway.
Mel offering him a better deal probably wasn't needed but was deserved anyway.
"The timing of this is good because any kind of speculation can be a bit unsettling - whether it's for the staff, the players or the fans," said the 43-year-old.
"So it's nice to draw a bit of a line under that and focus on maintaining the run we've been on.
"I'm aware of scenarios in the past that perhaps have been too unsettling and we didn't want that to be the case."
Do you think he's talking about Schteve "not" moving to Newcastle per chance?
I take it we are all pleased GR is staying?
Yes. Who wouldn't be, Griff ?
Birmingham away next who have won their last 3. So it won’t be as easy as it could have been.
Followed by Brizzle. Lose those two and we’ll be thinking that we’ve choked again. Just watch the faithful get on Rowetts back if that happens.
