Yeah that’s not going to happen and Jose knows it

posted on 11/1/18

It's not true though is it? So Jose won't even be thinking about it.

It’s Arsenal trying to get sheikh daddy to pay up, nothing to see here.

That ship has long since sailed. It's just a case of when, not if he signs for City.

He's done very well winning more trophies than your hollow plastic sugar daddy club without attacking. Kudos to him.

Sanchez wants to play for City, guaranteed a PL title if he moves this month, good wages and all in all a more attractive proposition for any footballer right now.

Mkhitaryan would be a good signing for Arsenal and would probably be that player that he should be at United.

I don't see Sanchez being that interested in a move to United though and at the end of the day it's his decision, he goes where he wants and Arsenal have to accept that or continues to the Summer then still goes where he wants.

Sanchez signing for City will make it even more frustrating trying to have their attackers (front 3) in a FF team, so much rotation.

posted on 11/1/18

Maybe they mixed Sanchez up with Ozil, and the Mkhitaryan part is still right.

Arsenal selling to Utd again after the RVP deal? Not likely. They can sell to City and avoid fan protests.

Wenger selling to Jose??? Think about it. Absolutely not possible.

This is just Arsenal trying to get City to up their bid or City leaking United are interested like they've done countless times before in some warped way of looking like they've gazumped us.

Sanchez is going to City, either this window or in January

Or in the summer*

He sold Cech to Wenger

This deal is unlikely but would love it to happen

Arsenal fans would have him burned alive if he sells to us again. RVP backlash still fresh. Especially when they can sell to City and avoid any real problems.

It's not even an option for us. Don't do it to yourself. He's joining City.

tbf who would have thought Arsenal would sell Fergie RVP?

as for fan protest, i think the g00ns would be just as annoyed at him going to city as they would utd... city have had a field day over the years signing Arsenal players.

When have we ever done that? Think about what you are suggesting there, that would make absolutely no sense.

Ask them Dunc. I think you will be surprised. They'd much prefer its city than us. Every one of them.

posted on 11/1/18

I think at the moment Arsenal don't see us as a rival, United more so hence there would be supporter unrest.

It's happened a few times Melton. Bernardo Silva was the latest one.

.................

I am really suprised that Jose didn't try and sell Ronaldo, Benmzema, Di Maria, Marcello, Kaka, Ozil etc. Way too much attacking with them lot. Not Jose players at all.

This. We’ll do what we always depressingly do these days and just desperately throw money at them.

Some people saying our Sanchez approach is just Mourinho messing with Pep. A) They're going to win the league anyway so what's the point? B) Why would we then risk all the fans fury about not doing enough to sign marquee players?

Imagine throwing a player like Miki into a deal for a player who is out of contract in just over 4 months.

If Arsenal think that's good business then great but I'm highly sceptical.
