Fury wasn't at his best but that's understandable. Still a convincing win though.
Great fight.
Wilder was burst after two rounds, the third round was inevitbale. Came in too heavy and blew himself out through nervousness/fear in the first round.
Complacency cost Fury in the fourth, but saving grace was the shot to the temple and not the jaw. After that it was only a matter of time.. just surprised that Wilder had the heart and chin to last as long as he did. Credit to him for that, but not the way he took defeat.. massive loser on that front.
Fury undisputed king at HW. His hardest fight comes from Usyk although his size and weight will see him win that one. Joshua can only beat him if he comes in a stone heavier than his last two fights.. but even then probably gets outboxed.
Never saw this happening the night I saw Fury punch himself in the face on ITV4.. nothing but respect for him. Especially given his mental health issues, how open he's been about them, and the good work he does to help others in that position.
Should be the next UK Sports Personality if it means anything.

Shot to the temple.
He was definitely wobbled/scrambled, but not "hurt"

He wasn't even that wobbly and in fact you don't see him wobble too much when he gets knocked down like so many others.
He still looked fresh after but was tentative to let his hands go because of that warning sign.
He was definitely scrambled.. He admitted as much.
Wilder has heavy hands.
But he's a sheeite boxer

cant deny how good this trilogy has been
modern day classic
up there with ali v frazier, and holyfield v bowe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, it's been incredible.
Gareth Davies what a sausage is he serious? His two questions at the post fight conference to fury, 1) are you going to retire now? 2) are you going to possibly fall back into depression now?
Fackin khunt

Was a great trilogy, shame Wilder had to be a sore loser and couldn’t shake hands they both deserved to have a shake hand and hug moment and have the crowd clap.
“Not since the Jesus times in AC/DC”
Tommy fury ffs
Think the last couple of weeks firmly puts to bed who the best fighter in the division. Congrats Fury.
Anyway here’s my updated takes after rewatching
1) Fury looked very very below par, and was probably operating at around 60% in my opinion, probably only just a bit better level / shape than in the first fight just used a different style this time
Whatever the reasons were, whether it was ring rust (20 months out), recent covid battle, recent ICU battle with his new daughter so lack of training or potentially over trained as has gone camp out of camp then camp, looked slightly half stone / Stone overweight, also apparently fury wouldn’t say it but he apparently rolled and sprained his ankle in round 3 when he put Wilder down as he moved back. His jab also wasn’t there evidently due to the ring rust and lack of movement / speed he seemed to lack with the extra weight
Either way he did what a champion does and ground it out and got the win and really hurt wilder, and the damage he took was more as a result of complacency or not being fit enough than Wilder doing any different or exploiting anything
2) What a trainer Sugar Hill is, everything he said in that corner was great and excellent cornermanship. Stark contrast to AJ’s the other week
3) Wilder has a huge heart and can take a lot of damage, shame he’s a classless pr!ck outside the ring as he’s a warrior in it. Spoils it with his attitude and hasn’t been humbled which is a shame. Still a lot of big fights out there for him though interested to see how he gets on

Why? This is why Boxing is a joke sport. Why should Fury have to settle for playing Tottenham when Real Madrid is available to fight? I want the two best heavyweights in the world fighting each other. Just facking give us Fury Vs Usyk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because Usyk has to rematch Joshua so it can’t happen next
Anyone know where I can watch the full fight.
Didn't fancy being awake at 4am to watch it

Fury Usyk is interesting because Usyk is literally fury’s worst nightmare style wise (a small quick heavyweight that has speed and power and boxes, bit like Cunningham), imagine he’d obviously know that especially after AJ’s performance and just try and absolutely steamroller him
Cheers, I checked YouTube and they're all zoomed in. I guess it's better than nothing 🙂
Honestly that Gareth Davies man really shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that, khunt should be sacked or better yet knocked the fack out, let John fury have a few mins with him
Absolute khunt
